License plates in Ireland are incredibly simple.

Same for here in the UK (actually even more so):

Basically, I'm looking to start leaning the basics of CSS coding, hopefully looking to have up to a basic standard of knowledge before I start my job as a trainee website designer later this yeah (oh, fuck). So I pretty much need all the help I can get.

I've had quite a few looks on various sites and on google, but I have no idea where to start at all. I'm pretty much fine with HTML so far, yet I have absolutely no idea about how to use CSS.

Thanks in advance.

Surely you could have a view somewhere on the screen where you can see all 4 playing fields (at a reduced size) though? So you could easily see whats going on without having to constantly rotate.

I'd recommend starting by learning the CSS equivalents of the familiar HTML tags, like font-weight: bold for .

Yep, got the gist of most of that by looking through samples. I'm just not sure where to go on from here.

Not sure if this is different enough to the photo thread, but I guess this one is a tad more specific.

Add a description too to make your post more than just like 'heres a photo!' or, just have a description and no photo at all. whatever works.

Here's me and my ex (who I was with for over 6 months)

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/richyawyingtmv/camerapics331.jpg
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/richyawyingtmv/Picture041.jpg

However she turned out to be a complete and utter bitch who really cared about no one apart from herself. So fuck her, I've got someone better now.

And I seriously doubt she'll turn out like my ex. Going well so far.

Anyway. Anyone else?

Been with her for quite a while now. I take comfort in knowing she's always by my side. I don't have a photo on hand right now, but I do know what she looks like from seeing her so often, so here's an "artist's rendition", if you will.

Wow, I've been with someone who looked just like that before.

Right. I've spent a whole day messing around with html and css coding, learning from various samples...and I think I've definately got the hang of it.

Just one problem though;

On this page I'm working on, I've got various image links in one coloumn div box underneath one another that are designed to be seamless. This is absolutely fine on firefox - the image buttons link up fine together with no gaps. However, in IE there are gaps between each image...which sucks.

edit - i'll just create a new box for each image. fuck it.

That's pretty cool. Looks almost like a painting. What's with the black lines though?

I didnt really think about what I was doing, I did it in the 10 minutes I had before third lesson started on that day.

Hm. I'm skeptical.

It's so easy to fake a death on the internet when no one knows you in person. And surely there would be some kind of obituary or newspaper report?

Just spent 3 days lying around doing fuck all, after having an operation.

Had a button next to me at my bedside. whenever i pressed it, a nurse came. and I got one of these things:

Free Food (last night I said 'can I have two plates of casserole instead of just one?' and the dinner guy goes 'yeah sure!')
Free Drinks (tea, coffee, coke, orange juice)
Free Morphine
Free Massage (!!)

And I had my own TV on a crane thing, with a dvd player. And a selection of films to watch, including Die Hard.

And holy shit

I want to go back. It was like a free holiday. Obviously an operation is never welcome, even when it is free, but still.

Anyone else had any experiences in the hospital as good as this?

Now just be ready for your hospital bill

Nope.

Healthcare treatment (doctors, hospitals, dentistry) is 100% free in the UK for all ages.

Hell, even the huge amounts of drugs I had to take home with me were free of charge.

What funds the doctors then? :O I mean I'm all for free healthcare, it SHOULD be that way, but it does make me wonder if people aren't paying, where's the salary coming from?

Government funded through taxes (the amount each person has to pay each month is a pathetically small amount of just a few pounds, and the NHS still manages to have a budget of over £96 billion each year).

I take it the DS emulation doesnt work then, if it's described by the words crash boom bang? Cant say I've ever heard of a Nindento DS though.

Oh well. Too bad, I guess.

He created the hack, therefore he can do whatever the hell he wants with it.

If you want this hack so badly, do it yourself.

Hooray! I'm useful!

This is like, the very first time anyone has ever said anything about this editor. Acmlm's community here didn't give much of a crap when the world's first N64 level editor was released.

Mate, that editor is awesome.

I've been using it ever since the release, but lost it a few months ago.

Thank god theres a link in the first post there though.
