...you messed up the syntax for one of the images, but I fix that for you.

Edit: Actually, that seemed to be some odd bug with [img] oO. Replacing it with HTML works...

Either way, I already considered what settings to use for said game.

Seems like I make it a Regicide game (finding every last city can be painful otherwise, and only draws out the game), and a donut shaped map.

From the sounds of it, they really changed the array of units available.

I figure the aircraft blocking stuff thing can be prevented by having air and land units on separate layers, but this is probably tricky to show graphically. And can possible be confusing gameplay wise.

Besides one of the beauty with the Wars series was that 1 tile = space for 1 unit. In many other turn-based strategy games it was possible to stack units... sometimes leading to stupid superstacks. Advance wars don't really have this problem. xD

Yeah, I considered starting over with a new world hearing about the changes he made. Most for the better too. Would be kind of sad too, considering I hadn't used the adamantium deposit on my current map but... oh well.

Very few people uses the OOP features of PHP from what I seen thou. PHP is a bit tricky to learn and master, but is very useful when you know it.

I rather see people calling it assembly, than calling it "ASM" too. Assembly is not too hard anyway, (especially in the context of making simple hacks) it's simpler to handle than some high level languages concepts.

Besides you can always look for someone willing with the knowledge to do it for you.
