Heh, funny thing about uTorrent. I thought about looking into it, cause openTTD is started by the same guy, although he hadn't been active for years now... he pretty much only got the ball rolling. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by witeasprinwowVery interesting article. Although I refuse to say anything about FF7 as I never ever played it. Expect that it's fans manages to piss me off sometimes, at least some of the most extremely obsessive ones. I'm a fan of lots of things, but I feel so casual next to some of those fans. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Satillite is the crappiest you can have for online play. Infact some alternatives of broadband is actually worse than dial-up for online gameplay. Before I had ADSL, we had a wireless connection... which was fine expect that it was laggy in nature due to the signal not always being too reliable and therefore me losing packets because of it. I'm not sure what type of crap people have for dial-up, but in my case the ping time on my ADSL and on my dial-up didn't differ too much really.
In some cases over 200 ms ping is bad in online gaming. Anything more than that is... even worse. But it depends on the game and how it's designed, some games are affected more than others. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Eh, we find out... sooner or later. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, as banned members have lurked for long periods before.
Even if over four years is stretching it. Ninja AE was before my time even after all. (although I have lurked since Acmlm board still was a ezboard) ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Dosen't that depen on browser/cache settings though?
I don't see that happening often with Firefox (at least with the settings I currently have) but sometimes it did with IE. Not really a big issue either way as a quick refresh solves that issue. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by Koitenshin +∞I hate you if it's to get around the size limitation. There's no point to really do that. It's not like you save blackhole alot of bandwidth. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Well, it would pretty much lead to 2 VS 2, or 1 VS 3 or 2 VS 3 or something in that manner. Main reason I want to do a coop game is mostly so everyone can use every track that is built, instead of having to use seperate networks for everything << ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Some of my relatives might be rather wealthy, but I rather see them living for much longer than seeing them to kick the bucket, so they can see that their grandchildren is going somewhere in the life.
My family and most of my relatives seems to be pretty much happy with what we have and doesn't really need much more. If I got a huge sum of money, I probably would invest it in various projects instead of spending it on silly stuff too. Because I think that's what my relatives would want me to do with the money. :/ ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

New version of the Aviator aircraft set.
I would suggest downloading it as I'm gonna use it for my next game. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Thing is, I would like to try this hack.
I saw two places where you could shortcut things. On World 1-1 you can jump through the Ceiling with a super mushroom. I wonder if you can go down the flag with thoose blocks around though... you might get stuck. << And on level 1-2, you can just walljump on the well to the left. Requires extreme precision, but it's possible. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Guess I give it a try later. Right now I'm waiting on a torrent to finish, but after that's done I probably give it a try.
I used ubuntu a bit, but I made the mistake of using the badly supported AMD64 version. And it was my last CD-R... I get the X86 version this time around. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

That it starts as liveCD is really nice anyway.
Because it's a easy way to check if the distro would work with your computer or not. Would been more annoying to go through repartitioning and installing to only see that your hardware isn't supported. :/ ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by XkeeperIt's one of teh early levels. Probably one of first three levels in the game. At the end of the first section in one of thoose levels, there's a warp star. When you see it, you just make the screen scroll left enough to make the star disappear, but at the same time won't make it reappear. When the star is gone, you can go even further in the level and you find the HAL screen. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Yeah, you told me that "The sound never works".
From what I heard, you can usually get it to work after some manual setup... but the point of ubuntu is that you're supposed to avoid doing stuff manually. Since hardware support is apparently improved, it dosen't hurt to try. I'm going to try running it on my laptop first even. (and I know that last ubuntu dosen't work on it, classmates tried with same model) ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

The version we use is also r6692. I decided that it wasn't needed to upgrade to the latest today as there were no notable upgrades. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

I probably wait awhile until I get it. Mostly because I'm way too content with my current games...

More like bad coding and grey goose.
But seriously, that's the worst theory I heard so far. It's probably just crappy optimization in the end with their editor. ...reminds me how I thought about making a SMB3 editor once and how it would handle space. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org
