And a finished table for ACS would be a bit more database friendly (than if it was constantly generated on the fly), even if it would require more space. So heh.

AIDS is not transfered by blood. HIV is.

I know you're referring to HIV, but come on. Don't confuse those two terms. AIDS is usually caused by HIV, but AIDS itself can't be transfered.

Well, too many parentheses is usually better than too few. Sometimes they're good to increase readability, and I really hate codes where the "formula" is hard to read because the coder in question is afraid of them. :/

Well, I seen copy-protection schemees on other games. Such as Earthbound zero NES and... Earthbound for SNES too. I'm not sure how the latter is activated, someone ROM hacker was being funny and made the screen on SNES earthbound activate instead of playing his demo hack. (changing a single byte fixed this)

The SMW intro is eerily similar to how the unlicensed pirate did it. But it's generally nice listening to.

...and OCRemix have removed some nice songs in the post, for both stupid and proper reasons.

Xkeeper: True, but isn't it important to have a standards set when it's a group who codes?

They don't have to be strict, it can be rules such as "name variables and methods something sensible". You should just see some bad naming methods people use...

This looks like a fake, the graphics seem to have been taken from various other games like LTTP and the GBC Zeldas...
Duh, that's because those screenshots are from Acmlm's homebrew.

That's the ROM I also "leaked" as Zelda III on emule to see if it would get any press coverage. Although with a much earlier version.

Seems to be the Z1 rom that's randomly corrupted.

I mean, close where the header is there's a few letters that hardly looks like they belong in a NES rom. And the iNES header is sort of there, just mangled.

Edit: Or at least, the header is later in the ROM. It looks like there's crap before the iNES header for some reason. Weird... if this is even a real ROM at all.

Well, he probably tried to make the ROM file look broke while still having stuff that would resemble a game for hackers.

Unfortunately, it leaves ROM hackers unimpressed. Only really really naive people would fall for this now. :/

...and ask why he used a text editor for screwing with the game at parts. Random occurrences of linebreaks doesn't really belong to a NES ROM, and other weird bytes...
