I thought something that is commonly found in salt water could be used for fusion or something too, I forgot the details. :x

When I first heard about it, I thought it was just gonna be a re-release with a C64 on a chip used. At this point, it looks to be more like a fancy mini-ITX esque PC inbuilt inside a keyboard.

Oh yeah codeblocks. I never started to use that IDE properly, but it looked like it would been a nice alternative.

Luckily none of this crap happens to me. Although, I sometimes can make myself puke if I swallow a fly...
You probably would have to deal with pests sooner or later with food unfortunately.

Although it's amusing how people talk about eating insects being gross, as some people think that we should start to eat insects more. There was some recent cooking contest somewhere where the goal was to make them more appetizing.

Is a nice graph to put things into perspective too.

Seeing those dogs is making me little uneasy, as I wonder who left them behind, if their owners are even alive.

Purposely bricking the device might get Nintendo into trouble in some parts of the world though, I have to believe that is probably more of a general disclaimer if anything.

Admittedly I never used flash cards anyway...

Good call on the format, it's apparently widely used amongst 3D editors!

(and they pixelate a lot because the DS doesn't filter textures ).
I didn't really notice that much in actual gameplay, but then again the DS screen is kind of small to begin with. And some would argue that N64's own hardware based filtering made things a bit too blurry!

I been increasingly fond of adding bacon to food randomly. So count me as guily then.

Super Meat Boy lampooned on that, with one of the bosses being made out of corpses from your failed attempts.

(For anyone who hadn't played the game. It's a really hard game. You die, a lot.)

Oil won't run out soon, but it will get more expensive. Which hopefully makes the alternative more competitive as well, which they already are in some places due to subsidized bio-fuel/cheap public transportation.

Most of the public transportation system itself here is not (directly) affected by gas prices here as the buses uses biogas from generated from garbage. Of course there is not enough biogas for every car in town, so it seems like they keep it for public transportation.

I'm mildly interested in how that will work out economically. I can't imagine walking down the $599 path being a sound strategy for Nintendo, at least...
Affordable always been their strategy, which was the way Wii and Famicom was made. Of course, Wii didn't get a price drop in a long time due to the ridiculous high demand it used to have.

Since I stepped down as a mod, the only one with mod power (aside from our administrative trio) is Kawa.

Does anyone think I can find a non-spammy way to reach my 2000th post, either on or before, my 2-year membership anniversary?

Only 110 posts and about two and a half months away.
There used to be a time where people posted that much within a day.

Of course, very few of those posts were of any value.

The closest, I suppose, is a couple of people who, to my best knowledge, generally seem to have done a lot of things I consider admirable - say, Richard Feynman or Carl Sagan.
I find Carl Sagan admirable myself, especially as what he have done to popular science, (which I find to be important).

Most names that come into mind of who i consider "heroes" would be fairly stereotypical like scientists like Stephen Hawking or Einstein. But also people who contributed to computer science like Alan Turing and Ada Lovelace comes into mind.

It was probably in complete seriousness. Because there's no way Christian radicals would ever do something like that *cough*Oklahoma City bombings*cough*. Unthinkable!
I think there is more damage from christian terrorists each year than from muslim ones. Just that the former kind is just commonplace in Ireland... :/

Can we classify the rapture as vaporware now?

I'm usually not fond of those filters as they inadvertently change the look of the game, they especially tend to make lines either thicker or thinner looking. Even this latest algorithm have some problems, like the eyes of Mario.

If I use a filter, it's probably a TV/NTSC filter, and then i usually lower the artifacts a little so it looks like a real but good TV. :p

How exactly did the "total brony" category make it past quality control?
I don't mind it, but I admit that I don't consider it being a good thing to be considered the most brony...
