Monday Night Combat
I would explain it as some third person TF2-esque shooter, that manages to be even more arcade and incorperating elements of tower defense (and DOTA apparently? Never played DOTA) all to a theme that strongly parodies the "gladiator" kind of gameshow, not taking iself seriously. It's defiantly a fun little game, if just really buggy right now (it's still "beta" though, you get the beta if you preorder). ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

And this thread just hit 1000 posts!'
I only played the very first Golden Sun. JRPG's dosen't appeal to me much, although I do remember that Golden sun was unusually text-heavy even for a RPG game. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

The general difference between JRPG's and "western RPG" style games is that JRPG tend to be way more storydriven, but also exaggeratedly linear both for good and bad.
By contrast I find some western RPG's to be too open... I hate being stuck in the middle of the nowhere and having no idea wtf I'm supposed to do. Not that I mind extreme sandboxing at times (see Dwarf Fortress). ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

So uh... anyone bought fireworks this year? I did! Hopefully it won't get too stormy to fire them off. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

It was quite windy here, but I managed to fire them all off!

Sounds like I should have fun with fireworks as long as I am able to.
I don't think they would make them illegal here, they do require a license for the heavier stuff. Said license isn't that hard to obtain apparently. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Played through the HD version of Eversion and also finished it with all achievements within two hours according to steam? Slightly disturbing and lovecraftian at parts, but not as much as the game would like to advertise.
Found it amusing how one of the achievements requires editing of the game files. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

The only problem I see with MSU1 is that you have to use bsnes to emulate a game using it. But it works on the real SNES if you build it together for it, infact it's probably inspired by the fact that the SNES would almost get video offically and all from that cancalled SNES CD addon. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

I dunno, I took a quick look at the freeware version and the added backgrounds and "improved" (or in some cases, changed slightly) graphics makes a different. Like the first initial layer you "everse" into looks happy yet rather... artificial, which did make me stop to think and react. In the freeware it goes from euphoric happiness to just plain happy.
I like the new "easter egg" ending, which I found kind of amusing. (they just sit there until you press esc) ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by blackhole89Language tend to reflect the culture rather well. Many specific Swedish words does rather well at reflecting our culture, such as the word lagom.Posted by KP9000While this hypothesis seems natural and indeed, I would be quite inclined to subscribe to it, it seems to be the case that the scientific consensus considers it obsolete/discredited, at least in a sufficiently strong form to be interesting. But then, of course, psychology is rather susceptible to politically-motivated fads... And then there is the words used as loanwords in English, such as ombudsman and smörgåsbord. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Browsers don't have inbuilt webcam support so it's probably either flash or java troubling. Most likely flash as the webcam support in Java hadn't been updated in a few years, and flash have the tendency to take down the browser while crashing (though newer browsers sandboxes plugins by running them as a separate process in a attempt to prevent this). ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

So car accidents are that common where you live? Any reason why? :/ ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Well it's better than decreasing the resolution, which is what most people do when "text is too small".
Someone looked at me all confused when I suggested to make the text bigger a few years at the university I studied, as his laptop screen was all... blurry. :/ ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Puzzle Quest 2 I got during the steam sales. Accidental been overlooking it cause I been buying more games than I can manage. (I'm one of the few HOUWAR owners in TF2... ; )
I been playing Monday Night combat lately. It's a silly team-based classgame like TF2, but with a futuristic gameshow spin ala "Gladiators". Very silly, but with a lot of charm and humor. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org
