Well, The Pirate Bay just sold out. :/ This kinda ruined my morning.
If they even did sell out, there's lots of other trackers I can use anyway.

This is pretty much advertising for a site, disguised as a "help me" post. I'm closing this.

Plus your idea is so generic, that I doubt anything successful would come out of it.

good games
I agree.

There's good games now, and there's crap games now.

There's good games in the past, and there's crap games in the past

Many people who stick with retro only rarely gives the newer games a chance, or is simple too lazy to learn the newer games.

CyclopsCavemen: I probably would enjoy Wind Waker more if it wasn't for the repetitive boat traveling. I'd enjoyed it's dungeon parts, and should probably try to get around replaying it sometime. I enjoyed Twilight Princess more, but only because it actually didn't have a timesink mechanic.

This is just one of many reasons why I have javascript disabled by default.
And why I use noscript too.

The script was stored on a external site IIRC, so even with scripts enabled for this site I would been safe from it.

Larger the ship, the more steady they tend to be in my experience.

I never gotten seasick from a larger ships, but small passenger ferries (sometimes called sea-buses) and personal boats I have gotten seasick from.

Older games provided a longer base lifespan. Legend of Zelda: LTTP took me a fair few days to complete for example. Something like Wind Waker, I could probably finish in a 24 hour run.. sadly.
Team Fortress 2 is probably the game I put the most hours ever into, and it's from 2007. Usually newer games get's their lifespan with being multiplayer, but still.

It used to be funny. That ended in 2006 though.
While I can't put an exact date when 4chan stopped being funny, I can agree that 4chan stopped being funny years ago.

Too many newfags.

I'm actually holding off playing DF until the next major release since the small annoyances of DF is making it a pain to play it for me. There's micromanagement, and there's... annoying micromanagement.

Very easy to use. Good work so far.

But what is the point with the line tool? It seems a little redundant when the square tool nearly does the same thing (as long you don't shake your hands too much...).

Defiantly more fun to use than object-based editors as well.

Ten years ago I would said the real deal.

Now emulators are so good and accurate it's... not really a huge difference to play on a emulator. Thanks to accurate emulators like Nestopia or BSnes. Plus you don't need to fiddle with carts and can chat at the same time with people.

I prefer emulation, I hated blowing my NES cartridges to make 'em work among other knick knacks...
Blowing on the metal connectors corrodes it supposdly. Only making the problem worse over the time. Due to the humidity in your breath.

I understand the idea behind it or the drive to be able to "snuggle" against something.

...but it's kinda creepy with it not having any kind of shape and looking like something from a bad hentai-movie.

(...) how well does WPF work cross-platform? .NET alone generally works due to Mono, but I don't know what sort of support Mono has for WPF.

Mono doesn't support WPF, and there are no plans to support it in the future either (because it's too much work).
The Mono team stated they won't do it, but is opened to contributions.
I would personally recommend against WPF in that case. I use multiple platforms and it would be awkward to use a virtual machine just for Reuben...
