Why do you insist that the human genetic code is "sacred" or "taboo"? It is a chemical process and nothing more. For that matter -we- are chemical processes and nothing more. If you deny yourself a useful tool simply because it reminds you uncomfortably of your mortality, you have uselessly and pointlessly crippled yourself. Chairman Sheng-ji Yang "Looking God in the Eye" From Alpha centauri. I love that game. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

So are you an actual DJ, or did you pick that title because it sounded cool?

Uhm, HTML code in general?
Just look for a HTML guide on the net, there's plenty of them. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

The chart seems to be for Ruby and Sapphire.
I know for sure that the balance is drastically difference in the later games compared to the earlier games. So some of the confusion could be that people are adjusted to different generations of Pokémon. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Yeah, the last half of that level felt kind of empty without no enemies other than the Eggman boss.
Marble zone might be my least favorite Sonic level ever, but I see that the level design isn't at least as annoying. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

The trial version was "leaked" earlier (technically, it was included with some PC magazine, and the installation binary was spread on the net) and I had some fun with it earlier today.
So far I made a naga-like creature, something that looks like a cyclops yeti and a creature that resembles Slowpoke in his thumbnail. A Grönnoks, the nagalike creature. A Seti which was my attempt at a bipedal creature (Resembles a robot from one of Will Wright's older games...), if you take screenshots against a black background it becomes a transparent PNG image. Sadly it's not cut out automatically. For being a trial, it's pretty fun to play around in... even if quite limited. Only carnivore mouths are there, and there's not too many parts you can play with. The creatures feels more like blobs than polygon models, so attached limbs actually merge together with the main body in a fluid way. The animation is great too, although you have to remember that creatures without legs walks kinda funny. I had to tweak my Grönnoks a little bit, until his legless walking didn't look so ridiculous. One neat feature I didn't find out until this creature creator was that the game also generate young versions of said creature. Like this. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Surprisingly, I seen quite a few music videos that seems to have originated from Asien.
As I recall, the original version didn't have those subtitles. xD ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by NSNickWhat's been covered in Spore really makes me thinks it's a mix of his earlier games, and various others. I think Will Wright took some aspects into Simearth into Spore, but in a much less dry way. In Simearth, you control a planet. Usually a common goal is to make sure life survives, make sure it turns sentient and starts a civilization and then make it advance into the space age. Spore is similar, but with the difference that you (at least in the beginning) have more control of the creatures themselves than a planet as whole. Then supposedly, powerful terraforming tools is available later in the game. The art direction of the game changed drastically during it's devolopment. Compare this with this. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by KawaHehe, true. I believe Will wright stated he didn't want to fall into calling every game he does "Simsomething". "The sims" was probably their first simulation game that wasn't called "Simsomething"... although it was called Simpeople in some part of the world apparently. oO ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Well, most things are PNG... expect for that spore also saves a smaller (in terms of resolution and size) JPG file of any photos you take (which is probably more suitable for screenshots with lots of complicated details, like in my first post). ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Some updates needs to be applied before others, and some updates needs to be restarted as they are applied.
So you probably just behind in terms of updating. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Use something else than the goal tape for the "end of the level" object?
Like the (?) green orb. Might even replace it's graphics with something, but from the sounds of it the mechanics of the goal tape is pointless for you. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Trapster, one of the default skins in the game is Purple. No idea if that's the one Kawa selected, but might be. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

I like the sunlight, darkness makes me depressed. I do keep my room dimly lit ironically, but at least having a hint of it being bright outside makes me happy. Artificial light in darkness is uncomfortable for me... ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by blackhole891999-2001 for me. I have a feeling it's earlier than later even... I was mostly playing around with the SMB3 editor that Lincolnsoft made in my really early days. ...I also remember that I accidentally found the unused bonus game in SMB3... and I didn't recognize it until years later when some other hacker found it again and made it less glitchy. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org
