Meh, I'd be more interested in this game if I actually had a Wii. As it is it's going on my ever-growing list of "games I'd like to play at some point but won't for several years most likely." |

Anyway, an electric-type is nice to have for the water you need to cross via Surf/Waterfall, but it's not entirely necessary. At least there are several to choose from (Shinx/Pachirisu/Pikachu/likely more) Also, that Ponyta may come in handy for the 7th gym too, so I'd train it up some as soon as possible. It's kind of a pain trying to train a Fire-type without using the Exp. Share when most of the high-level Pokémon you see are Water-types, Ground-types, or Machokes, though. |

Shinx's other ability is Rivalry. cpu got its effect right.
Also regarding Shinx/Luxio/Luxray, it learns Charge before it gets its first electric attack, Spark. Dunno why, but it does. |

It took me somewhere around 40+ turns to catch all of them except Azelf, which took ~20. Probably wouldn't have taken so long if I'd used something other than plain old Poké Balls... 
The way I caught Mesprit was to pull out my lv.40 Murkrow against it and immediately use Mean Look to trap it. From there I could basically do what I wanted unless it used Future Sight (the only move it had that could hurt Murkrow ), in which case I had to heal once the FS attack hit. Was long and tedious, but actually rather easy. |

I'd probably be inclined to guess Tatrion, though I'm likely wrong.
Also I would guess that my posting style would give me away, but I bet when I came back later I'd be really surprised at some of the guesses... |
