I added myself sometime earlier. It's as close as I could get to being exactly where my room is.

Report any issues with it to me instantly.
1. There's a broken Edit link in your own profile that probably shouldn't be there.

2. Either the timestamps are backwards or they're worded wrongly (For example, "Posted on 03/09/2007 06:14:11 AM (rev. 2 of 03/09/2007 06:18:57 AM)" sounds like the original was made on 3/9/07 at 6:19; it should say something like "rev. 2 as of" ).

Who doesn't love Tetris?

I haven't played Tetris GB in quite some time. Only bad thing about it was the superslow rocket sequences (don't remember if they were even skippable ), other than that it was a great game. $3 is a great deal too as long as it works.

3. Quoting this post doesn't bring up the full post text in the quote box. I don't know if it's not reading the correct rev. number or what, since that post was edited 3 times...

There's also an invisible object that Yoshi can't eat in Yoshi's Island 3. It's yet unclear why.

That one's easily heard by going to this spot:

There's nothing there in LM, so there's no real reason why that's happening...

Xkeeper introduced me to Kid Radd sometime last year, I don't even remember when.

I stayed up until 4am that night reading the entire thing.

I absolutely, positively loved it.

If there was any game I'd want to see or make, it'd be an actual, working, fully functional Kid Radd game for the NES. That comic is pure awesome; I think that the game would be too.

You might want to check out the NES game "Totally Rad" as the Kid Radd charcther is kinda inspired by the guy in that game. >>
I've played Totally Rad, wasn't impressed by it much. :\ You can't even walk up slopes, for goodness' sake...

Whats all of your high scores? I want to try and beat some
I just dug my old Tetris GB cart and GBC out to play it for old times' sake.

Got 267014. Don't think I'd ever made it to Lv. 15 before either, so new milestone for me

Ride Among the Clouds
Except for the TEST level, this is the first level in the ROM (possibly the first "real" level ever made for SMW?). Sort of reminds me of level 1-4 in SMB3. The pipe at the end isn't exit enabled, suggesting that pipe exits worked differently when the level was made.

Really reminds me of coin heaven (SMB); which is possible that might've been its purpose.
Mabye for a single level, but it doesn't look like a multi-purpose one, and the start reminds me too much of SMB3's W1L4. It just gets a little odd afterwards. (Also notice the "Fast BG Scroll", which won't work with that platform iirc)
Actually, I just put this in a test level, and lo and behold the Fast BG Scroll gets activated by sprite 5C (the orange platform). Interesting...

Probably just shoddiness.
Eh. Consider, also, the chances of this cropping up during playtesting; slim to none. Hell, we really only found out about it by pure accident, I'd guess

Also, amkes me wonder. What happens if you make the sprite edible, and eat it?

Does the level cease being side-exit enabled?

Even better, if you'd set the side exit enabled sprite to be the sprite that Yoshi lays after eating amounts of Berries.

Haha, someone needs to do this. It would be so funny.

Hrm, I still have doubts on it... Is the sprite X/Y dependent?
The sprite is X dependent, and enables the Yoshi's House smoke at even X positions.

That said, it would be interesting, but I doubt the level would cease being side-exit enabled if the sprite's like the other command sprites that scroll offscreen while their effects are still felt. Dunno how one would test this though.

Last three games I bought were Mario Tennis GBC, Pokémon Crystal (broken, sadly ), and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Cost about $40 total.

I'm not planning on getting anything else until Pokémon Pearl/Diamond come out, and then I'm not planning on getting much of anything after that at the moment.

Is this the Tina bug-report thread too? If so, I'd like to report this one:

Using Tina X*: If the window Tina is sitting on gets closed, Tina disappears and no other window is given focus. This doesn't happen in earlier versions.

I use Thunderbird. Mainly it's just so I don't have to use a webmail system for my Earthlink mail--ELink Webmail sucks big time.

Unless you set it back an hour (and fix it if the server changes times later ).

Anyway, this just messes up my already messed up sleep schedule (I slept from 6am to 6pm yesterday ). Doesn't help any in trying to get to classes on time...

I've been on the losing end of that many times myself. Happens more often at higher levels though.

I think it's because the game only accepts input and checks for matches every other frame but checks for game over every frame. Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure that's the reason. You'd have to ask a more professional hacker to find out for sure.

Bah, now the sun doesn't come up until after I get up for school

That's always the main thing I hated about Daylight Saving Time.

338. Looking at a program that you wrote 6 months ago, knowing that it compiles and works, knowing that you, at one time, were a competent enough programmer to have coded this huge morass of code, wanting to add more functionality to it...and not having a single clue how all of your functions are pieced together to work properly, thus making it nigh impossible for you to do so.

I tend to use "uh" or "um" when I can't find the right words for something, though I usually don't type it out when I'm talking on the internet. I also sometimes use it as a statement of speechlessness (which comes out in writing as "...", which I use way too much )

I can sleep 10 hours easy, but past that I have to be especially tired or sick to stay asleep. Though, I did sleep for 12 hours yesterday.
