It was linked in the thread, Traps. Read it.

And Tanks, bud, you got in right after the door closed so you'll wind up as alternate. :\

I'll do the draws later, but we have 16 again.
Actually, Hiryuu, your link redirects to ||board.

Trapster, copypaste this into your browser: http://acmlm.no-ip.org/archive3/thread.php?id=10484

Actually, no it doesn't. That was the same exact URL that's in my post.
I realize that's the same URL as what's in your post. If you click on the link in your post, though, you get redirected to http://board.acmlm.org/index.php. Try it yourself.

The ice and snow around here is finally melting. Of course, that means the ground is now becoming pure mud, but...

At least the golf courses should reopen within the next month.

Does this work with a Mac? If it does I'm in.

Posted by Xkeeper
Sorry, Randy -- ZSNES is x86 only.
Unfortunately, unless Randy has some other computer or OS that can run ZSNES, he can't play, meaning someone else will have to take his place.

So is there an IRC channel or something to get coordinated? Are PM's working, I haven't even tried em.
The board's "official" IRC channel is #rohmacking on EsperNet; a goodly number of people hang out there. Otherwise, you can contact people via PMs, since they do now work.

It's supposed to snow/rain again tomorrow here. I don't want it to; I want to see grass again.

If you can call TI-BASIC a language, that was my first one, back in 1999. I wrote a golf game in a week and later ported it to QBASIC (the source is still around here somewhere, but I'd prefer it never again saw the light of day ).

I now much rather prefer C++, the only other language I (partially) know.

The only one that I've played and liked is Sid Meier's SimGolf. All the rest kinda bored me.

I type "with the" as "withe" every time I type it. I even write it that way about 70% of the time.

Kattwah, you also can't seem to spell "guys" right

This thread from the third incarnation says that it pops up after the Aurora ticket speech in Vermilion City. You even posted in that thread, Keitaro.

BMF and I did that last night (Guevara's English counterpart over the internets)

Needless to say, the hijinks were very high quality

MINE
* BMF grabs a flamethrower
MINE
* Xkeeper runs straight into a mine and dies

Honestly, we died so many times it was hilarious (you have infinite continues and you start from where you died, so gameovering has no penalty)

Really, it's great
Haha, that's an awesome quote.

I remember YD and I did that once with Gunstar Heroes. Though there was no text chatting during the game due to Gens not having it (I think ) there was certainly a good amount of hilarity, especially when we looked back on the sheer number of times we died in Black's dice-maze, mostly to Curry and Rice (which we I now present to Danielle every time she says she likes curry in an effort to explain why I don't ).

lightning, striking a tower, my take on it. 12c

I would love to help shadic, except for the fact that I wouldn't =(. After so much charity artwork you get pretty sick of it.

Especially when people who you give charity artwork don't finish what they're doing with it, right? I would've loved playing that pinball game.

Anyways, I didn't get that last sketch when you posted it in IRC, but I do now. Nice pun

Single letters for loops, "temp" for anything that's meaningless beyond being a place to store a number for a while, and medium to long names for everything else.

CamelCase, of course. First letter lowercase for variables and methods, first letter uppercase for classes. And all caps with underscores for constants.

You know, the way it should be.

Or at least the way it's taught in programming courses.

All of the above applies to me as well, excepting constants that I just do in the same format as normal variables.

Sounds a lot like Acmlm's NSF of SMW, though with somewhat different effects in places, like the main level theme ("Here we go!" in LM).

Not bad at all though. Much better than the pirate game

I'm hoping blackhole and I can play either tomorrow or sometime this weekend. It's kinda tough at the moment finding a time where school isn't in the way.

Actually, it might be because there was no title entered for the thread. I don't know exactly what would happen in that case (or if it'd be allowed at all), but that's what I suspect happened.

I can't see how the person who wins the contest would be kept from distributing the ROM as he/she pleases, and if that's the case how this silly contest is any more efficient or, for that reason, even has a point, since once it's over the end result is similar to if he'd released the ROM directly.

Unless, of course, the whole contest is rigged, and the "winner" won't distribute the ROM at all, in which case people will just spout (as they are already) that it's complete and utter BS.
