I don't normally have this problem mainly because it's either spur of the moment when I kiss someone or because we're drunk. You shouldn't wait for the girl to do "the signal", you should just play it as it goes; if you want to kiss her, you kiss her, if she backs away, you slap her and tell her she better fucking kiss you.

It's more or less a fact that you need to man up. You're too scared to move the relationship between you because you're afraid she doesn't feel the same way about you. If that's the case, there's nothing you can really do, but if you both feel the same way about each other, and you both do this, you'll just be delaying it to the point you both lose interest in each other. If you take a chance and try and move forward, and it works, good job. If you take a chance and it backfires, you atleast will have learned something and you can either work on it / whatever.

Then again, you could always, you know, sort of "force" a kiss to happen by setting the mood right.

Me, Stark and Cirvante have been discussing this for a while and we've finally completed the majority of rules / bans on units / map plans / tournament setup in general, so now we're ready to have you guys sign up

Tournament Website

Download CW, using this will be much quicker than AWBW (thanks Xenesis)

For those of you who are new to the game, looking up Advance Wars on Wikipedia or the website above will fill you in on the basic idea of how to play.

For each round of the tournament there will be CO Bans and Unit bans. This is because some of the units / COs in general are pretty broken (e.g Colin who uses money to boost his units attack power dramatically) or would have a huge advantage on the map (for example, Sturm, with 8HP map damage to units)

Depending on the amount of users participating, there will be more rounds. The way this will work is that you'll sign up, I'll put your names into a VB script that pairs them up randomly, and then you'll play each other. The nice thing is you don't need to be online at the same time, you can continue your game at any point, until the time I give you. The winner of each match will go up to the next round, as this would be the simplist way of doing it.

Well most people don't have DoR so....

In regards to FTA; if I disable FTA by placing a unit on the other side, they get FTA. The FTA doesn't matter so much in this map because it's really a matter of defending the little islands with a cheap recon unit or something.

why ban black bomb when theres no airports

Von Bolt is banned because of his incredible boost in power along with map and palalysis attack. Sami has weak defense which makes up for her super troopers, and sensei may possibly be banned but I really do not see any major problems with him on this map since there are no airports which means only his troops are good.

considering sensei doesn't have good attack or defense with tanks, he is fairly balanced out. If there was also airports, I would ban him. Without bcopters he's just more of a nuisence if anything.

Regardless, he's a weaker CO than either Sami or Sensei


Map paralysis is the reason, and he's a lot stronger than Sensei.

Like blackhole89, classical music, VGM + Anime soundtracks and trace are my most favourite listening material, but I do listen to pretty much every genre out there. The only thing I'd probably not listen to is french music though, I find the majority (of what I've been given from my french teacher) to be pretty dull.

This is a condensed article from 1980 about the different types of education given to students in different social classes. Things have changed somewhat since then, but not enough, I think.


Private education will always be superior than public education; public education is funded by the government while Private is funded through education fees. This lets private education have more available to students while public will have a set budget to work with, leading to better subjects and better support through teaching. There would need to be a lot of money to be pumped into schools to be on par with private education, but even then, would people attending public schools want to have that education? Would these people be able to cope with the amount of work? I'm not being offensive by saying you're stupid for going to a public school, but for people who already find the work at their school to be quite challenging, it's best for it to stick to that. With the credit crunch, more school funding seems like the very least of the government's worries, especially because there is also a war still ongoing and the troops need all the support and the best equipment available.

If public and private education were on par with each other, people wouldn't pay to go private and there would be overcrowding in schools, stopping the people who do need free education getting in. Another thing that would happen would be that colleges and universities would expect an even higher standard from everyone and would make applying for them a lot more difficult. It's already hard for people to get by these days, and if the amount of people out of education increases, there will be a lot less jobs, which would also lead to many people living off of benefits, causing the government even more money.
