The feature that enabled me to answer banned users' questions. I'm not sure why I get asked when I'm clearly not staff... at any forum. My Crystal Ball isn't working.

I have advised Uki-Ki-rby to ask this question - politely - of a current staff member.

Reminds me of a potential *new* feature? A place in a profile that only appears for banned or red-named users advising WHY they are banned or red named? Custom Titles don't always say it, and it might help with that communications thing a touch.

Thanks Kailieann, I'm glad you like it

I'm also thinking that that will also enable any idiot (ie, me if I get asked) to provide answers. Dammit, Help Desk must be getting to me, I like to do weird shit now like answer people's questions. Faaark, crazy.

OH OH! It might be even more awesome if it just quietly logs how many times a user's been banned or red named? Although to be fair I'd like entries in such a tracking system to expire after a time with good behaviour....

Now I'm being a pain in the arse, aren't I? <3

Ah. Well... I'd like to see it returned.

That was one of my frustrations as staff previously; sometimes you just didn't know why someone was banned -- and then they'd ask you.

In general I'd like to see anything at all that eases communication between users and staff and makes it easier for average users to see what's up.

I'd also like to see implemented "placeholder" spots for moved threads, redirecting to the new location so that threads can be found Sometimes a moved thread can be confusing.

All in all, I want to see less confusion, and have it be bleeding obvious to users what is going on.

I hope now we're going with all nifty new stuff we do see some more staff transparency. I just want a lot of the really silly little confusing things to come to an end.

And yeah, I'd like to see the placeholders disappear after a while too, or possibly be "optional" in case of some circumstances Because I can just see how that would go after someone went all silly and made a bunch of rubbish threads...

I'd also be interested in finding out about coding different colour schemes for this board. As I would like to try to contribute at some point perhaps.

You know, in recent years, I forgot how good it is to sit down and actually listen to an album -- as a whole, in correct order, etc.

I'm so used to shuffling about songs I like in random or semi-random order, I've forgotten how good actually listening to a full album is.

Which brings me to the topic - what is your Favourite Album (s) ?

I am currently listening to the 30th anniversary edition of Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd which I recently purchased. I've liked the album for years, so thought it would be good to actually get a nice copy of it. This copy has the advantage of being an SACD copy, which means it will sound absolutely super awesome on an SACD player

Aerith Gainsborough, lying down in the flowers in the Church

Unable to fully complete it due to continuing computer problems at the moment, so posting what I've done so far. The things to be completed are many, but they are also small details....

The image itself is all right, it just refuses to load in the IMG tag.

My best guess would be that she disabled offsite linking by accident.

Actually... dammit, yes. The problem is hotlinking. I had board.acmlm.org allowed as an exception, but didn't even think of the URL having changed / the hotlinking stuff in place.

Unfortunately I cannot resolve this until I get home, as I cannot access my domain *at all* from work (blocked under the "Game Sites" category in our filter system) to fix this.

When this is resolved later tonight it will appear in the thread as normal. Until then, I apologise, you may need to copy-paste the URL. Sorry guys. D'oh!

Dark Side of the Moon is superb and very immersive. Although I do really detest the clocks at the start of Time because they hurt my ears!

Another album I quite enjoy is Radiohead's OK Computer. Doesn't all fit together as well as Dark Side of the Moon but still an album that I enjoy listening to from start to finish. Fitter, Happier is kind of fun in a creepy way.

Guitar Hero @ xkcd

Who here plays Guitar Hero?

I previously had not, although I wanted to. Thankfully at the start of this year, I did have a little bit of temporarily disposable income and now I own a controller and the first and second game.

My partner introduced it to me mid-January, and I really enjoy it. Because I work a lot, it's one of those games I can pick up in spare pockets of time and give myself wrist injuries with!

I'm currently trying to go through the game on Hard but I am frequently subjected to multiplayer Expert by my partner. The eventual goal is to go through it on Expert, but for now I'll settle for doing Hard without too much RSI.

It's funny, when I got my real guitar, Derek (my partner) also mentioned it might make me better at Guitar Hero (lol)

I <3 my Guitar Hero

I've recently discovered I am capable of multiples.

My partner seems to like this a lot.

Jessica by the Allman Brothers Band.

Very nice song. Like all the guitar and piano solos all the way through. Long song too so you can enjoy it for a nice long time.

Don't like the length when trying to play it in Guitar Hero II but don't mind listening to it.

It's not too bad on my Work monitor (1280x1024) but I find it quite difficult on my Home monitor (1680x1050). No I will not change either resolution.

Perhaps there could be an option in one's profile to make font sizes larger, so that people using larger resolution will be okay?

Yes, girls are more technically capable of multiple orgasms, however it is believed that a very small percentage of women actually have them.

It's actually suggested that many women don't orgasm at all.

I don't know, but I never used to have orgasms of any description and now I have discovered I am capable of multiples.

They do tend to believe that mood and relaxation play a huge part in a woman's ability to orgasm. I feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed around my current partner, so maybe this explains it.

I tried a dual-monitor setup once. It didn't really work though for me.

I liked it all, until I tried to use it for what I actually wanted to use it for -- graphic arts. It turns out that some programs do not properly support the use of a Wacom Tablet in a dual-monitor configuration. When your cursor appears to be in one place, it will actually draw the line somewhere else.

Photoshop was okay but I have never liked the way Photoshop and my tablet work. Everything else I wanted to use just... didn't work.

So I just settled for a large widescreen monitor instead.
