Clicking on the addresses brings you to the address in the live ROM hex editor.
From there, you can go through the list to apply the value and see which one is the exact address that you should change. ____________________ |

The technical effect is that the timer is STILL running but the value is 0 so it doesn't increase or decrease it.
Stopping the timer actually would be to apply something that would stop the 'seconds' timer (which would be $18), but I don't know how to do that. If the timer was to start at 000 completely, you probably actually would get time up. ____________________ |

SZVLTYYE
To specifically kill off the exact address. PEEUTNNY makes the counter count upwards, but if you go about 999 then it goes to 000, leading to a time out. That code you found pretty much does the same effect as freezing the 'seconds' timer. Either way, from all the info gathered, this is a good topic for anyone who wants to edit some of the time settings. ____________________ |

Pretty nerdy, but lately I've been having part of my dreams sneak in this shit where I buy those "Mini Classics" Game & Watch remakes. Usually it's pretty much some Mario game, either something not even in the collection or something manipulated. Shit like Super Mario Bros. 3 keep showing up, then some Donkey Kong thing.
I mean seriously everytime I'm near a store shelf there's fucking Mini Classics that I never heard of. Maybe it's just that time of year. Lately I've been collecting a decent-shape Game & Watch for each Christmas. I got the original SMB, and Bomb Sweeper. I got shitloads of Mini Classics, but the thing that's always pissed me off is how there's really cool ones of like the Multi Screen series that I NEVER see on shelves. There's like an internet review of shit like Zelda and Oil Panic, but those things never show up. I had Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Parachute, Fire, Octopus, and Mario's Cement factory. There's plenty of other ones. Nintendo has like 20 fucking companies in a Mini Classics deal. So many of them have different games. It's retarded because you literally are exposed to only a variety depending where you go and are. These things have been shooting out since 1998 and sometimes they get discarded from stores. Last time, Wal-Mart didn't carry them anymore, but now they brung them back from the most popular deal they got, where they slap a bunch of Mario 64 designs on the package, and they have a mute and pause function. Just today I got Mario's Cement Factory for like the 3rd goddamn time. The first time was a different company because it was yellow. So far I only seen 3 versions of sets from the companies Nintendo worked with. There's some crazy shit too. Sometimes they're not even Game & Watch games. They have shit like Yu-gi-oh. There's Smurfs and Tetris somewhere. I heard that Tetris was SUPPOSED to be an actual G&W, but I don't know if the Mini Classics version is what it was supposed to be or if it's brand new. I can actually imagine Smurfs being planned because G&W stuff like Snoopy Tennis, and some Mickey Mouse shit, was released. Anyways yeah. I guess this is a Game & Watch discussion. ____________________ |

Since the NES controller is limitted to 4 non-directional buttons, is there a program out there that does the whole joy2key thing, except I can have button combinations to trigger a key? ____________________ |

I like it but like this one guy said, whoring a hack around spontanious difficulty is really annoying. This is why I hate those Mario hack that aquire glitch exploitation and shit because it's just really retarded. I wanted to play Mario, not some other glitch game. If I wanted to play a precision game I'd play operation or bopit or some crazy shit like that. ____________________ |
