(Also, I think you can just use standard timestamps instead of appending your own...)

Most likely, but I haven't done mIRC scripting in a long time and I've forgotten how. :x

I've made a small edit to the script:

BEFORE
on ^*:TEXT:*:#rohmacking:{ if (($window(@Tina)) && ($nick == Tina)) { haltdef | aline -hp @Tina $chr(91) $+ $asctime(HH:nn:ss) $+ $chr(93) $replace($1-,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 09,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 04,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 03,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 05) } }

AFTER
on ^*:TEXT:New reply by*:#rohmacking:{ if (($window(@Tina)) && ($nick == Tina)) { haltdef | aline -hp @Tina $chr(91) $+ $asctime(HH:nn:ss) $+ $chr(93) $replace($1-,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 09,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 04,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 03,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 05) } }

Basically, this will filter all replies to the new window, but other messages (like 8ball) will apear in the chatroom.

That doesn't allow for new threads or new users. I just made an edit...

alias tinaWindow { window -ak0m @Tina 64 64 640 320 lucida console 11 }
on *:JOIN:#rohmacking:{ if ($nick == $me) tinaWindow }
on *:PART:#rohmacking:{ if ($nick == $me) window -c @Tina }
on ^*:TEXT:*:#rohmacking:{ if (($window(@Tina)) && ($nick == Tina) && ($1 == New)) { haltdef | aline -hp @Tina $asctime($timestampfmt) $replace($1-,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 09,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 04,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 03,[ $chr(3) $+ ] 05) } }

What if you take them off entirely and let the client do it instead? I mean most people have timestamps on in mIRC anyway. I'm pretty sure everyone who uses this script knows how to do that. o.o

With the edit I made I've fixed it, and as it's a custom window it needs to be coded.

Heh, there's just one thing.

#acmlm2 already serves that purpose for me.

In which case, remove the window creation and the add line (aline), and Tina won't flood the channel with redundant information for you.

'sup guys
If animals pops out of goombas when defeated too, I'm going to die laughing.

I was going to program it so they get squashed like normal, actually. I have yet to do any new enemies..

Nothing particularly interesting here, just a different sign.. signifying the first run-through of the level.

Bosses get a different first-run end too.

By the way, the second run-throughs of the levels will be different, definitely object-wise, and maybe small changes layout-wise (not sure on this yet), so it isn't just replay for replay's sake.

LocoRoco and Me & My Katamari are good games. Crush also looks like it's going to be a good'un when it's released.

By as others have said homebrew is good for it, especially playing almost any PS1 game on the thing. Abe's Oddysee on the PSP is great fun.

Is that from the SMS ports?

Altered from the original large-size in the Mega Drive version, but based on the SMS one, yes.

I bet I won't break 1000.

Just I feeling, I usually drop off a cliff around 200 or so.

Mine seems to be around 50, I just end up posting screenshots and stuff as it's so hard to keep up with so many topics. :x

.. *looks at postcount* .. oh dear. *idles*

I wonder how hard it would be to implement the Mega Mario and Mini Mario...

It would be cool if you did, though

Mini-Mario might be easier than Mega-Mario, only because you would have to expand Mario's tilemap a ton for the time that he is Mega then tell the game to shrink him and return his tilemap to normal.

I don't view this forum often, but wasn't there something about getting the SuperFX chip implemented in SMW? If so, couldn't that be used for the Mega Mario, instead of all-new sprites at that size?

One thing I've always been interested in with Red/Blue hacking is the events/scripts, as it's something so uncommonly messed with. I was considering attempting a disassembly of Red, but then university got in the way.

It's a little different, with dual-tiles to get different shades, but..

This is more to fit in with the theme of another forum/chatroom I go to, for a bot called Lemon-tan, but..

.. he couldn't get any good MD5 hashers for VB and, well... yeah.

:. TinaSitter was made in VB? Seems VB should be given more respect than it currently has..

It's a bit of a big GIF at 3.7mb, so it's linked. Not a complete intro yet, but getting there..

It reminds me of Leaf Forest from Sonic Advance 2

The clouds are from Leaf Forest, the rest of the BG and the foreground are from Sonic Advance 3's Sunset Hill.

Here be a video of what that intro finished off as. :o (I think the sound slips slightly out of sync around about the break, post and jump.)

1) perhaps he should start off running, it looks weird starting from a complete stop like that

If you look carefully, the starting frame is actually in the run pose. It just looks like he's frozen because of the palette fade in.

Posted by setz
2) that sprite is just temporary right =(

As has already been said, it's for the intro only. Sonic Advance style -> Past post + big ring into the past -> Classic MD Sonic style.

Lordlazer, you won't have to switch player often at all; just to unlock one or two things in the game.

If that's the case, then mayhaps a 2-Player option as well as a Mario/Luigi game would be an interesting change? One player ends up going one path, the other player the other, and maybe some very hidden and secret secrets for Mario in Luigi's path and vice-versa.. just an idea. :x
