Did you win? Tell your stories here.

I've been in a few fights, some won, some lost. I never really got my ass kicked though. Anytime I lost was just an admittance of physical superiority to another and that the fight will continue on by other means. If I did win a fight, it was no contest. Half of the fights I have been in resulted in my opponent being admitted to the hospital.

The craziest fight I've ever been in was where I threw a chair at someone and one of the legs knocked out the dude's eye. I was not expelled from high school, but I had to change schools due to the fact that because everyone heard what I did, they saw me as a worthy opponent for a fight.

There was a kid who tried to do the "shadow clone jutsu" crap on me once. I shit you not, he seemed to even know whatever hand sign went with it. The kid was seriously trying to fight me like this. I yelled "reality check" and gave him a shot in the pills and that was it.

April 1 was just a regular day except with people going "lol" and "what did you do today on this fine April Fools" etc..

I didn't really have anything going for me that day. It was seriously so boring that I had hoped to have gotten that Conficker virus while sorting through all the April 1st articles before I decided what to hope on and see which ones were the real thing.

Nothing beats sitting at the computers all day and burning two calories per keystroke. It is the only exercise you will ever need.
I wish it were two calories per keystroke. All the damned nerds would be bodybuilders.
Posted by Stark
I don't actually think that exercise works that way.
This is why we have close to no bodybuilding nerds.

Also, never really played too much of Guilty Gear. I'm sure I would if I actually played fighting games; it's a great franchise.

When I created "Nostalgia", I wanted to make it visually reflect what our community is about. It embodies what we do here and really gives it a good feel. I also like the dark marble look to it.

In my grade school, I got into plenty of fights early on. When I first attended, there were a lot of people that didn't know who I was. They would test me and screw with me left and right. When I get pissed off enough, I go wild on them. They usually walk/run away with a bloody nose, or get up off the ground recovering from a knee/fist to the stomach. After a while, people stopped messing with me.

I'm glad to see this whole KCS operation is a benefit to activity. It's nice to have someone willing to maintain it too.

You guys take Stark for granted. You really do.

I am a huge soda junkie. I love mostly dark sodas, but occasionally the cream sodas and mountain dews here and there. As a soda junkie, I decided to do some sort of experiment. Just go get yourself one of those inexpensive 2.5 gallon water dispensors you stick in your fridge and just drink nothing but water for a week. You will find that you have more money in your wallet than normal (which is a huge plus for me) and you will seriously feel better. I drank as much if not more soda than you, Kawa, and let me tell you, you should cut back as much as you can. The difference for me was night and day. Sure, it tastes good, and it's okay to have it once in a while, but it shouldn't replace water as your main source of fluids.

tl;dr- YES.

Was wondering this myself. Reminds me of a video I saw recently of how Disney often recycles their scenes for their movies.

Also, moved to Spatula. I figure it fits better there.

This could have really been done through a PM...

Custom Titles are earned when you meet certain criteria. You must have been here for a year and have 800 posts, or, under a year and have 1200 posts. At that point you will have the option in your profile to change it to whatever you want.

The staff body has been discussing this topic a little though, so sit tight and just bet for meeting that criteria for now.

I've pretty much worked out the kinks with this program. It's just the beginner's learning curve I had to get past. I'm sure there are more in the future I'll run into, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

As far as progress goes, I'm going to set aside some time in the near future to work on it some more. I've recently got into the Wii modding scene, so my motivation right now is to get it finished so I can see my hack as a channel on the Wii. Yay!

I will be sure to post in here if I need any help. I was thinking of turning the issues brought up in here into a learning experience and make a couple of guides out of it!

Ah, but Blue Storm was never brought up as an option in the initial staff discussion.

Also Arabian Gold is terrible and screw you for bringing it up. Yeah, it's just a recolor of a set of generally well-liked stuff... But it's a terrible, terrible, awful recolor. The only worse scheme is Tyty's scheme.
I'm glad it's not *totally* at the bottom of the barrel...

I didn't think it would be that popular anyway. I only made it for the minority. I see that some people use it and I'm glad it's getting use. I'd *like* Nostalgia to be the main scheme, but it has issues with transparency with older browsers (like work computers) and wouldn't work well as a default.

I blame xkeeper for Emerald Envy... it was supposed to be all green and he screwed it up.

Well, I'm not sure how exactly it's done, but there's some ASM involved. You have to set up the game to accept the extra data it uses or else it'll totally ignore or point to somewhere else completely. You've got banks, ASM, and other stuff to worry about.

Again, not sure how it's done, but I bet someone's going to post here who might know the way to go about doing it...

I take no offense from those who stated that they disliked my theme. After all, this *is* a thread all about opinions.

Also, thanks to everyone who voted for my themes. It gives me a vote of confidence and indicates that I am getting better at what I do. Thanks!
Posted by blackhole89
With it not looking like many new votes are incoming, it might make sense to axe Daily Cycle too and tell the people to conclusively spread their votes between Fragmentation and Miner's Lament...
I agree on this. It'd probably be best if we finally get a conclusive vote so we can get rid of the overused old theme.

ZSNES doesn't emulate as accurately as some other emulators. Try Snes9x. Should work fine.
