My hope is to hold Monthly tournaments starting at the first of every month. If you suck, you should join anyways. The more, the merrier.

Well, if the submitters had to abide by a deadline, then so should the judges. Especially the judges. Any particular date in mind?

Registered everyone. We should arrange a game together. Maybe sometime this weekend.
I have my other thread in this forum for Tournaments. We could use that for separate matches as well, which is how the tournaments will work anyway, as well...

Am I the only one who thinks there should be some kind of rule against posting quotes where the presumed punch line has been written by the poster himself? It's practically laughing about one's own jokes.
I think we should continue the way we have been. Nobody else seems to be having a problem with this other than ArBeWhat...

I still believe it was a success. We got a total of 10 levels to judge from, with plenty of judges. I think the host did pretty well for this contest. Call it a learning experience. I think we should have another one in about 6 months!

So, when will the results be posted? Later tonight?

Okay, I made some sushi recently (like, tonight) so I'm going to post the end results of my asian adventure.

I used the instructions from this site and it turned out pretty good. Here is a picture of the food. California rolls, so what. It's the best I've ever had to date, so that's what counts.

As far as preparation goes, I only used a fraction of the vinegar, salt, and sugar mentioned in the recipe on that site. All the supplies needed to make the rolls I got at Fry's, except for the Makisudare. Anyways, enjoy!

What's next for me, Korean food?

Any decisions on being able to edit music? Maybe get with blackhole89 on his SST and collaborate?

Based heavily and fully off of the computer original, "N" by metanet. N+ is a refresh of the PC version on Xbox Live Arcade with many new features such as several multiplayer additions. More are set to arrive, with the PSP and DS versions of N+ coming out soon. You can grab this game for 800 M$ points.

I've got an Xbox Live account and really want to play online with people I actually know. My gamertag is -you guessed it- KP9000.

I made a pretty awesome episode on there, so if you see me playing, invite me to a game or something or I'll invite you and we'll run away from some homicidal robots.

I've never been part of any kind of prank, nor seen any prank pulled off at any of the high schools I went to. I was waaaay out in the boonies at the time, and the heat had melted our brains (Arizona) into meat with eyes.

Well, I just need to grab the supplies for the other kinds of maki out there. I'm sure I can make it, I just need to do it.

Any suggestions on what I should try next?

The only reason threads get derailed is because people take shit personally. If you just respond to his post and the point he's trying to make here, instead of worrying about taking a blow to your giant ego (speaking to general humanity here) the thread would just chug right along.

Now, as for the topic at hand, having an active staff is pretty much the backbone of having an active board. Not to mention the benefit of having active staff to protect and maintain the board. Aside from the basic bullshit, I support having a more active staff. Whether or not that includes me, I don't know, but as long as it stays active.

As far as my activity goes, I'm here for good. Actually kind of funny nobody but Grey Mario noticed I was gone...

Now, I know a lot of developers add ASM hacks to ROMs through their editors (SMILE, Lunar Magic, etc) that add either more room, easier data management, or more features altogether. Any plans for stuff like this, DD?

I'm sure people already know the difference, but let's state this in the thread anyways. DD, What are the advantages and features of having an expanded ROM with MMC5? What can you do with this enhanced ROM that you couldn't do before?

The design of the editor is a great factor of how large the learning curve is. As I see it now, it's massive. Now, this could be an easy fix (ala DiscoPeach, changing a few fonts and colors a bit, though the downside is it's still pretty much the same) or a hard fix (for anal people like me and Kawa, categorizing the buttons and making everything smooth and in-line) and to be honest, I prefer the smallest learning curve possible. If you *really* want to reduce learning curve, you'd take the time to revise it. The cumulative time spent by each user learning the GUI would be much greater than the time it would take you, the programmers, to design something that's not sore to the eyes after 20 minutes. It's more efficient, more user-friendly, and trust me, you won't be stopping any n00bs from making horrible 1-room hacks by not revising it. In fact, you'll be making much more work for yourselves because you'll be getting a great many more questions asking you where shit is, how to do what, and people won't *want* to do more than one room *because* of the GUI.

So, please, I know I sound like an ass to ask more of you guys when you've already put so much into it, but if you're going to go all out, go the full nine yards and take care of every aspect of this editor. Everyone will appreciate it.

[Edit: Revision of a sentence to reinforce my point.]
