I just don't understand why you'd even care to do that stuff, and it almost sounded as if you were bragging or something in this thread ...

But, whatever. If its fun for you, cool beans.

Maison Ikkoku is the best romance. Ever.
(done by the same guy who did Inuyasha and Ranma)

Common Sense!

Basically.

I mean, layouts could break things ... so, yeah?

I'm assuming that HyperHacker's "background" is done through the title? Seems cool and I'm sure more will follow suit, and its cool to have that option. Just don't be stupid.

Kernal is who again? (bloody namechanges confusing me)

I was comm128, then Banedon.

Wow, I'm with Danielle ... totally didn't see that coming.

WASSUP BANEDON

We talked a bit back in the day I guess. I also remember you quite a bit from dare I say it, TEK Hacks. Thats probably showing my age again.

I believe Banedon was pretty fed up with the place...? Chev and a few others too maybe, but I could be speaking out of my ass here.

Honestly I myself enjoyed TEK Hacks when it was around. There was a time when I liked it even more than CGC (well that place just didn't seem very lively after Super Mario Bros 3. Challenge, or something) and DESnet. I thought there were a lot of great people at TEK Hacks, but sadly hardly any of them seemed to migrate here or too other places that I know of.

Occasionally, like once every 5 months or something I'll talk to DxEdge, if you remember him. He was pretty cool, just wish he wouldn't disappear all the time. Other than that I haven't really stayed in touch with people from TEK, but I'm not going to lie, I still have a friends category for TEK for AIM.

The only thing I didn't like about TEK were the sideboards and all that. There had to have been like 200 some forums, and it was just so cluttered. And wow, what was there like 100+ staff members? I remember solid tbone (that was his name right?) sometimes couldn't even tell when people were staff or not ...

Man. The days when I was into rom hacking.

Oh lawls, was it you that ... did stuff?

Doesn't really matter. TEK kind of ruined itself if you ask me. Just way too cluttered and unorganized, but it was fun while it lasted.

Chev, he's a FM at Xeogaming, so yeah.

For me, Rahxephon > Evangelion / Dual / all that stuff.

I've seen all of Evangelion like twice, both endings, all that stuff but I think I'll never be able to see what's so great about it.

MGS4.

That's pretty much it for me. It was made pretty clear in a recent interview with Kojima MGS4 will probably not appear on the 360 (debunking the rumors).

STILL, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

Also, the US never got an SNES version of Rockman & Forte, which at times I've seen mentioned as Megaman 9 (which would be more odd since 8 was on the PSX).

Thankfully we got a perfect version for the GBA. That game was great.

Resistance is crap compared to GoW, I've heard. It's just plain boring, apparently.

Yep.

Also, God of War 3 will be grand I'm sure.

Still, I don't think I'll buy a PS3 for another ... few years.

Full Metal Panic! is the rock. So is GITS: SAC

I really didn't like the movies (albeit cool ideas, themes, and art. But the plot was nothing), but I've heard the series is really good. I should check it out myself sometime ...

My one serious contribution here will be communication. Asking "Feel good? Right spot?" is a hell of a lot better than rubbing away at her for hours with no results. And fucking TELL HIM / HER if she's doing it wrong. It makes everything that much better.

I am Jack's complete agreement.

Seriously, I can't stress enough how important communication is to good sex.

*doodles note*

The USA and Europe didn't get the original Japanese version of SMB2 because:
a) it was deemed to hard for American players, and
b) it was too similar to the original SMB

So, the rest of the world got a version of Doki Doki Panic instead, which was then released as Super Mario Bros. USA in Japan around 1992.

And the USA didn't see SMB2J until Super Mario All-Stars was released for Super Nintendo, in 1993.

Which sucks. SMB2J and DDP are much better games than "Hacked Version Of DDP With Mario Graphics"...I would have killed to have been able to play SMB2J when we only had a NES (which was until 1999).

A PC game series, Leisure Suit Larry (no, I haven't played it), didn't have a 4. The series just skipped rather mysteriously from 3 to 5.

So is there more differences between SMB2us and DDP than just graphics?

As for the games, I've always been a fan of both versions actually.

You guys realize that this is all just fucking with you, right? You'll have to keep jumping through hoops and will never receive a copy of this prototype rom, since the guy doesn't even have such a thing.

Megatrooooooooooon!!!!!

AKA most of you guys must be really bored or something. I can't believe this thread is even 8 some pages.

I can't wait for someone to finally win this so we can all continue on not having a prototype rom!

Oh and if you're a true otaku(or on the road to becoming one) and genre isn't an issue, I would really think about getting Maison Ikkoku. I've been watching it(almost done) and I have never been so interested to see what happens in an anime ever as much as this one.

Sweet, someone else enjoys this series. =D

Another random recommendation: If you want a cool thriller, Monster is great.
