Ugh, this thread is still kind of giving them (or moreso the everlasting fued) more uneeded attention, regardless you make a good point.

So yeah, if its anyone from here, I will hunt you down, and spank you. You don't want to be spanked by Xeo now do you? =0

I don't remember specifically, but back in 2002/2003 I was actually really into Rom Hacking. Back then the Challenge Games Community was like my favorite site to visit, and eventually I followed some of their links which led to Acmlm's site, and through there I found the board and the style and everything was just really appealing to me at the time.

Then I started posting, and the rest is history.

As for CGC, I think I probably stumbled upon it while searching for roms, emulators, or something like that.

Kinda a bump but...

http://omikron.bluelaguna.net

Just a random website I found with a whole bunch of good RPG OST/ASTs. Fuck yea they have Valkyrie Profile 2's OST in it.

Something similar, Protoman.com's music and stuff. And this site -used- to have a ton of stuff, seems like they took a lot down (used to have Orchestral Game Concert and other various cool stuff).

I'm pretty surprised a lot of you are just now discovering Galbadia, I've known about it for years ...

There were a few at my High School who pronounced it as "EX-eeoo-gred". I wanted to slap them.

Its 'Zeogred'.

I've been without power for days a few times over here during some horrible ice storms. But, its pretty rare ... like once every 5 years, if even?

Man it'd be so boring.

I'm pretty bad. Unless my client is left open (usually during the night or something), I'll remove the torrent once its completed.

Most of the stuff I download already has a ton of seeds and everything though, so .. meh.

I did this once in like 6th grade when my dad worked for some Networking company. We ended up installing Jedi Knight on some of the computers and just played that online all day.

That's the only time I ever did this though, and well now I'm older.

I've never had a download limit, or at least I never knew I had one. I watch a lot of stuff on YouTube, surf the web, and use AIM, but it's not like I'm downloading 100 movie trailers, 500 CDs, and 200 game demos every week or anything. It could be a really high limit.

Same here. I download SO much.

Anyways, I guess Timothy Dalton is in this? Hilarious.

I still really really really want to see it. My friends and I plan too sometime this weekend.

Maybe its me, but Moore was amazing. I mean haaaamazing. Probably my favorite Bond, even though he looked a bit too old for those women.

I think its just the fact that practically all his Bond movies were totally amazing.

It's kinda hard to "give him a rest" when he's had over a YEAR to prove it's real, and he just keeps dragging people along with ridiculous crap like this "contest" (which--gasp--nobody won!).

I thought it was even more than a year, like years.

Oh well! Maybe someday I'll see "Zelda 3 NES" for download somewhere and people talking about it and I'll be like "Nice".

I am pretty amused that he later claimed someone finished it but didn't claim the prize, too. Why the hell would someone go through the torture of this mind-maze and then go "Durrr.. no tanks.. hur, hur.." when presented with their reward? It was obviously an excuse to try and keep people active in the whole thing. (If people were convinced someone completed it, after all, they wouldn't give up so easily..)

So yes, I'd have to agree.. there was never going to be an end to any of this, he never showed a lick of proof to suggest otherwise.. It was always going to be one step after another..

A similar tactic was done when he held an auction for the rom. I don't remember specifically, but it was like someone won the auction but didn't want the rom.

I think all the negativity towards OoT is pretty funny.

Gaming since I was 3-4, I grew up with the first two on the NES and absolutely loved them. From there I went on to worship Link to the Past, still one of my favorite games of all time. And from there I went on to play OoT and loved every bit of it. I still do. I love them all.

Majora's Mask was great too, though I'd take OoT over it easily since it was much longer and had more than twice the amount of dungeons. Though, the 4th reversible dungeon in MM was probaby one of the greatest dungeons ever (hands down one of the hardest).

I believe Link's Awakening and dare I say it Zelda II are pretty underated.

@JrShrooboid: I was going to say have fun with the Water Temple, but then I saw you're going through the Master Quest ... the Water Temple seemed pretty dumbed down and easier than the original, from what I remember. But I remember the Spirit Temple being harder than the original, and Ganon's Tower. Overall I didn't think the Masters Quest was all that special.

I liked it a lot, but overall I'd say it felt a little rushed/overdone or something along those lines, there was just too much they could have spent a lot more time expanding on. The end kind of just came out of nowhere too (the last 20 minutes or so).

Spoiler:
If its true we'll see more Spiderman movies, I'm sure we'll see more of Venom. Remember, death's are meaningless in the Marvel universe. And if they expand upon the whole symbiote storyline, Carnage would eventually come into play and then Spiderman and Venom would have to team up to take him out, as they did in the comics/cartoon.

I was impressed with the CGI, but there were definitely a few odd parts. Honestly, Spiderman himself looked a little too CG from time to time in this one (then again its been forever since I've seen the first two, so maybe I can't really compare them very well right now). The effects with the symbiote/Venom were amazing though.
