Yep. Don't get them mixed up folks. 
ZDTV = TechTV. Though, honestly I thought G4 was enjoyable a few years ago when they were seperate. TechTV had The Screensavors, X-Play, Anime Unleashed (had some great obscure anime's, Betterman, DUAL, and Magical Shopping Arcade Abenaboshi were awesome) and a few other random cool shows I enjoyed, and back then G4 had Judgement Day and a few other good ones (though, they showed re-runs almost nonstop. And regardless of how dumb Tommy Talarico was at times, it was enjoyable to watch). But yeah, G4 itself went downhill when they "merged" with TechTV, and well now they're just worthless and practically a bad SpikeTV remix channel. Cops? Cheaters? Blind date? What the FUCK. |

I ... don't know. I can't explain it right now and I don't know why, but seriously, I've just seen maybe one too many out there claim its the best anime ever. Can't say I've seen that in awhile though, but still. Its good. I loved it, I love the characters, the music rocks my face, the style was amazing, the movie was decent, the setting was sweet, and finally the plot that was there was amazing, hell the dub was excellent. But in the end its a far cry from being the best in my eyes. Back in the day when Adult Swim was new and they aired it, I always thought Trigun was better, still do. But in the end, that's me! I'd buy that though. 
(in fact, I just ordered it). On a random note, anyone have any good cyberpunk anime recommendations? Stuff like Armitage the 3rd, Ghost in the Shell, Iria ... I hear Ergo Proxy is good, maybe I should finally look into that. |

Star Trek has been aired on like every network, ever, same with Generation. And yeah, it just shouldn't have been on there.
Yeah, I forgot about Icons, that was one of G4's best shows, and that reminded me of G4TV.com with Tina and ... Laura? They'd talk about the new big games and have people call in to voice their opinions, then they'd have goofy competitions, but heck it was a good show. If I remember right one of them did most of the writing for Icons and a few other good shows. I wonder what happened to all of them? Remember when they pissed on X-Play's dissembodied voice? 50 voices later they all sucked. But yeah, its pretty much too late now. They've dug themselves an extremely deep hole they'll probably never crawl out of. |

Wow, anyone else ever heard of this? I just checked out the demo, and it actually seems very promising. Metroid II is the only Metroid I've never finished, if this gets completed ... maybe that'll change!
The gameplay is very much Zero Mission-like, and well it just seems awesome. >Link to Demo< Development seems pretty far and stable too, so it definitely looks like this could be completed. |

You guys killed the thread ... or something.
Anyways, I am finally watching some anime on my own here. Randomly, but I started picking up back on Gungrave, and I watched 11 episodes in total today. I know that's probably nothing for some of you guys, but for me .. someone who just can't hold their interest usually when I try to watch anime, man its a world record for me. I hope to finish it either tommorow or Sunday (I'm on 18). Probably will check out some other stuff afterwards, but I think I'll stick to shorter series. Just doesn't feel as overwhelming, for the more casual viewer like myself. |

I'm a bit like Thex in my own way perhaps. My posts come out as if they'd be something I'm actually saying.
Heck, I even throw out "like, yadda yadda" sometimes, I don't always see others doing this. With the "like". 
And yeah, I'm with those who tend to use ,  , , , and sometimes  . Though I randomly like to throw out =P, =O and =D also.
And well my posts tend to be shorter thesedays, then compared to my posting years ago or so. Obviously I spread stuff out a lot too sometimes. |

Hmm, you're not the only one that's saying this.
It definitely doesn't sound like it lived up to expectations, but I do still want to go see it for myself. But from what I've heard from all over, doesn't sound too incredible or anything like it could have been. |
