I'm doing a sim of Zem myself. I was just wondering if you knew that it went at 1/12 beats the whole way through. I kept it at a good pace.

I'm quite sure you would have known of this. Otherwise, I can give you the mp3 I have. It stays at the same beat.

You might want to Cmod that one...

Just put links in text. Don't know why you can't click them....

Not necessarily.

If they're doing overly-retarded uses of three-key+ (hands or quads), then it's likely to be poor.

If it's that plus off-sync, it's gtfo.
You tested B.O.B for me way back, you know I stay on sync.
And I'm not a fan of 3+ steps. Never used them and I most likely never will.
I still can't figure out why the link is teh bustered.

Oh, and Kles, if you didn't like that, I'd stay away from Hyper-Oni...
Heavy as a few, but it's a tad easier.

EDIT: fixed a mistake on Hyperventilation. If you DL'd, please DL again. (06-20-07 11:47 AM Western Time)

SWR:

Took a look at Oni and I wasn't too happy with it. I AA'd it no problem and the sync is pretty much not a problem but you do have some rather odd patterns added in that I attribute to 'lol' syndrome. It happens with all of us. Basically you put in runs that make no sense and get carried away because the music is awesome. The awkward jump placements on beats and the end 16th run into fade are a few examples.

There's no background and it seems that "Rabite's Revenge" is who you got the sim from originally (given the #TITLE: field). Might wanna do some more work on that next time. :\

Overall, if you submitted it the way it was now, I'd probably give it a 6 or a 7. For a keyboard sim, it's about average and there are some things in it that just go a little too overboard to be used in a sim such as this. Too much pace for notes that just weren't there.
Noted. I understand where you're coming from. I guess I'll kill Heavy, and just keep Oni, but lighten a few parts up so it's more enjoyable overall. And yes, I forgot to change the CD title. It's funny, the main reason I did this sim was because Rabite did it SO BADLY! It was at some random BPM and I saw a lot of 1/64th notes having me assume he just did a record and tried to make it right. I'll do some major fixes on this, thanks for the commenting.

Doesn't really surprise me. I've seen some by him before and I about busted a gut laughing at it. Good taste, bad steps.
It's funny, that's a majority of my sims is one of bad steps but good songs. I need to fix them! XD

Anyways, I was playing FELM extra stage and got rather far. A failed score of 7575757 at the end.

That one took some time. I could have done better on some parts, but I didn't.

And yes, this is my way of saying I really like the sim.

Thanks! Does this 4x4x4 strategy work with a 5x5x5? I don't have a Rubik's Revenge.

Edit: Yep, it worked. Thanks!

Oh, and the link didn't work, it redirected me to www.myspace.com

The computer one is a 4D cube (Rubik's Tesseract)

My average three (and other stuff)

A cool pattern

The other side so I remember how it all went

I solved 'em! (5D cube in screen now)

The 5D 2x2x2x2x2. I've done the top half so far.

My first solve on the 4D 3x3x3x3 (1,366 moves)

My first solve on the 4D 4x4x4x4 (3,400 moves)

My current status on the 4D 5x5x5x5 (I've got a world record shot)

If you can't tell, I've solved the centers, like Goldensunboy.

That reminds me to put the 4D and 5D cube programs.

You need .NET 2.0 Runtime to work the 5D one though.

If you had read the readme ...

=========================================
7)Using the DSC
Rename Pipes.dsc to the same name
as your ROM, but with the DSC extension.
Then put it in the same directory as your
ROM.
WARNING: The DSC gets erased when using
Blocktool, so keep a spare. Once again,
not my problem.

The reason there are tutorials for Hyrule Magic is because it had a poor Help File. The one for Lunar Magic is very thorough and easy to understand. I would suggest reading through it and you will learn basically every aspect you need to be a good SMW hacker.

After Insectduel provided me with a few links, I took the time to find as many Japanese hacks as the internet can offer. Of them are level hacks like Tower R E, or mod patches like auto scrolling and hammer throwing Mario. I provided mild descriptions for each file and hope the English community appreciates my efforts. If anyone is aware of a worthwhile hack not included, please inform with details.

Download

P.S. I'm going to try to put a few of the mod patches to SMAS as well. I'll share progress as I make it.
