Anyone else not give a crap about this series anymore?
I'm serious. I think everyone's waiting for remakes of 7-9...and that's it. Everyone saw a little something in X but every denies its worth against the game that is FF7. No one cared about X-2 that much, attributing it to Charlie's Angels more than anything. No one cared about FFXI THAT much...and no one really knows why Famicom whatever rated XII a perfect score. And considering the high point of most of this, Uematsu, is pretty much finished with the music of the series...I'd say there's not much left for this game that should've marked the end of a gaming industry over 20 years ago. |

Yea, you'll quickly plateau if you don't try speed mods after a while. It does take a bit of the fun out of it, but then again SWR can beat my BLACK LOX 3 Mix on Oni and he does it modless.
That's when you're truly skilled. Playing at C600 (as if the song were at 600BPM) isn't anything compared to that, really. |

By partitions, do you mean internal or external data?
I mean I go up to J drive myself but only one of them is internal and that's a 60 gig. I have a 160 gig external hard drive, a 2GB flash stick and a 512MB microSD flash card. The last two are ported around constantly for obvious reasons. |

Re-opening on grounds for people to calm the fuck down. That goes for both members and staff.
I've already stated last week but no one seems to listen to me. If blackhole/members affiliated to him and Xkeep/members affiliated to him could come to some sort of an agreement, I think we would be better off than this absolute two-year-old HORSESHIT that you people keep on ensuing. I beg all of you to grow the fuck up. Seriously. If the two parties involved would graciously get along, the rest of the forum could actually operate in piece, yet you people get all the people involved with something that simply goes towards two people. The whole 'whoever the fuck is trolling the other' person crap is absolute bullshit. Someone threw the first punch and it kept going. I agree with optomon about whoever shuts the hell up about whoever sucks first but I'd like to take it a step further and go 'whoever would like to acknowledge a truce' bit first instead of aimlessly throwing text around and going absolutely nowhere with this. I mean seriously, what the hell is wrong with you people? In the past week I've seen an entire forum split once again, I've seen people who I thought were stable and level-headed become assholish bigots and really this makes no sense. Those of you that actually follow this may note that I have, in fact, not got 19 up yet.
Well a few things happened and one of them was that I got a new job. Thanks to that I've been VERY MUCH pressed for time and not able to complete what I had down for 19. That should probably come as no surprise. I really won't have time to start working on this until another week from now and I also have people breathing down my neck about DDR simming. Very tight ship I'm running and someone's going to get the short end so I can't really tell you when 19 will be done. Just know that it will be big, large and probably well worth the time to end up this arc. |

Worst I got marked for was about 100 in a 55 that was written '76 in a 55' which was barely the second line of probation in a speeding ticket. The alternative was being nailed as a felon. 4 months probation at 120 dollars for a ticket wasn't bad in comparison at all.
That's the only time I've been pulled over for a ticket, actually. Driven 110 in a 55 before. |

Honestly, when the shit hit the fan last night...you know what I did?
Hit the power button on my monitor and watched Yuu Yuu Hakusho last night. Got the whole box set of it that just came in for my 23rd birthday. Not a bad catch at just over 100 bucks US and it was well worth my time. Why am I bringing that up? Simple. I had spent my time better watching cartoons than dealing with this board or any other forum's lame ass. That said, I, in no way, approve of the crap that went down last night especially after a certain leader told us that there weren't supposed to be any crap of ANY kind to be displayed TO forums or AT forums about this particular board. Now isn't that something, he goes and freaking lies to everyone's face and makes a community look freaking ridiculous when he could've just as easily continue to revel in the fact that this place is making itself look vomitrocious day-by-day thanks to inadequate leadership shown by so many staffers and to the damnedest fact that no one seems to give a rat's ass if this place were alive or if it was flushed down the toilet. One of the better things that came out of that mess for the longest time is that truth finally came to light. This place needs death. So be it if Ace no longer wants this place. He said it himself. Hate to break it but the man's word is of God. Now that doesn't mean you need to go through and delete the forum and that's it. Rather you should take any mention of his name, as people have already suggested, and strip it of this place and get your own style going and actually RUN IT. That or you need to up and deep six the forum as it was and take the crap that comes from it. If merging the board with ||board is an option...FUCKING go with it. There are so many people that would be overly anxious to take this place up and run it, regardless of what (mostly JU) influence this forum has against the concept. I honestly think a merge would be the best potential this place has left and I'm not bullshitting. If you had even a decent week's work towards something like that I would whole-fucking-heartedly guarantee that the performance of this community would 180. Whether in a good or bad direction...I couldn't tell you. That's up to maturity...and I actually have faith that it would be in the good way, to be brutally honest. So it's rather ironic. I hated the fact that our end was made a complete and utter idiot out of something as FUCKING ridiculous as what happened last night but I absolutely applaud the fact that this forum had met its end, even briefly, last night. Why? Because when I work 10 hours a day, M-F, and I come home to this bullshit I don't really care to answer to it anymore these days. To have that taken out of my life was a breath of fresh air. That said, if things don't change real fast, I may as well up and resign...I may just do it flat out coming up here really soon actually because this is old. We should've been over this crap next to two months ago. |

As EP said, I've got 56K at home and at a worse speed than you.
26.4k. Suck it up, it could be worse. I do plenty of things with my crap connection and I use it more often than most people use their DSL...which helps that I have it on all the time and use my phone line for something nothing more than that cause. And the reason I have it when I could -more- than afford a DSL or cable connection? Location. |
