OK It's been eleven days, and does anyone know anything about Puyo Puyo? I've recently picked up Puyo Puyo Sun and managed to get to Carabuncle, the hidden final stage in Schezo's story mode and holy freaking crap it's fast... Puyo Puyo is an underated series, please tell me I'm not the only one on Board 2 who enjoy's it...

I could post pictures and stuff if you want, the main thing is I thought I'd find more people who like it... but only a lot of views and no replies. How about some videos?

I don't speak a word of Japanese, but that scene always cracks me up!

There are 9 anime shorts about the series, I like them and they're pretty neat if you have some time to kill.

I know the games came out in America as other titles, or more recently Puyo Pop (more like flop because it hardly sold and now SEGA isn't going to bother bringing it to America anymore... D Nintendo has their Puzzle game still coming out in America after all this time (Tetris Attack) and We've seen Puyo Pop and Fever and Tsu on virtual console... that's not a lot =\ We missed out on the really good ones, namely the original and Sun, I haven't played ~n/4 but I want to, I like this series so please tell me I'm not the only one...

I didn't much care for the American face lift games, but eh... without them I probably never would've played Puyo Puyo to begin with. I recently tried out Nazo Puyo, I like.

I've been playing Cotton, Puyo Puyo, and some other random arcade games that I'm pretty sure never left Japan, shame too =\ But that and some other games I'm ashamed to say I haven't beaten yet... I just beat Bowser in Super Mario Galaxy and I'm working on collecting the rest of the stars. Also going back and forth from Wii to Computer.

I wanted to see what all the fuss is about so I got the Japanese one, like with all new Pokemon games I like to play them before they take forever to translate and release it, I'm going to pick it up, but so far the oddest thing by far is I found a wild Level 10 Golbat.

Also, the Poketch now lets you go backward and forward between apps

"The item to unlock these Pokémon in the game, the Secret Key, will be distributed at retail stores as well as via Wi-Fi, during the period between September 28 and November 4, 2008."

So when will they do that over here then?

Knowing NOA, it wont... =(

So far I'm working on fighting the 3rd gym, the game has definitely increased the difficulty, which is good. I'm just waiting for a friend of mine with an R4 to take my save so I can trade some Eggs to my Platinum save and use them on the Emulator.

Things I really don't like are the whole Shaymin factor, since none of us will probably get one, and I wouldn't be surprised if the item only works with the event one. Also this is gay: Regirock, Regice and Registeel will be catchable at level 30 with the help of an event Regigigas that has been distributed in Japan.

I've listened to the first half of the OST on YouTube, and I really like it. I refuse to listen to the second half because I'm afraid of spoiling myself too much, and nobody has bothered uploading it yet.

Truth be told, I wanted to know everything about Brawl, I'm trying to avoid everything Megaman 9 because I want to feel like I did when I played the original classics, unknowing and ready to take on the 8bit world before me.

Yeah, they translated it though... which I didn't quite understand. Why bother translating it if you're not going to implement it? Then again they also ignored all the events in Emerald like Mew...

So far I'm raising up my Torchic (now Cumbusken), Treecko, and Croagunk that I got from Pearl, so I'll update once I get to another point in the game. All of them had egg moves so that's awesome. Torchic had Baton Pass, Night Slash, and Agility, Treecko had Leech Seed, Croagunk had Cross Chop and it got Wake-up Slap too =\.

I'm really anticipating the American release of the game, it's really fun so far and it's definitely got smarter coms, that or I'm just unlucky and they keep getting critical hits, which has happened to me quite a lot.

I don't remember anyone saying the Emerald events happened in America, just about everyone says you can't have an English nicknamed Mew... Like I'm going to waste a bunch of money for an event Pokemon I'm never gonna use. The only one I'd like to use is Shaymin to be honest.

Wii, also the release date is the day before my birthday! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect present Capcom!

Also it's ironic, I wanted Megaman 9 to be 8bit and by some stroke of luck it IS!

Interesting, I'm so checking this out, one part of my childhood consisted of playing this kid friendly version of DOOM.

I'm having a hard time beating the stages XD

I've only beaten Splash Woman so far, but I really love the game. I might get to beat it eventually, but I always have a little trouble on the Megaman games I don't have any knowledge of the stages in it. I really love some of the stuff they came up with and the art is really nice, I don't care if a real NES can run it or not (probably could with a lot of tweaking, I'm betting some Japanese fans will try it)

I was psyched for this because it was like the Rockman 7 FC fangame, and I just love the 8-bit style even if the game is too advanced for the system it's meant to be on, but when was that ever a bad thing?

I vote making RUN in trainer battles a forfeit option like on Wi-fi and in the Battle Factory, I've been in a lot of gay matches where the AI spams Double Team.

Well, I'm nearly at the Pokemon League. I've gotta say the Torn World was freaking epic. I really think this is one of the best 3rd installment's Gamefreak has EVER done.

Well, I've beaten the Elite Four and I got my national dex (couldn't have possibly gotten Gengar without Pokesav... I could've gotten it from a friend on his R4 but that's always too much of a hassle.

Kinda disappointing that the E4 had their levels lowered, but at least they get stronger later, a la Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green.

Also, the Rotom event started on Wi-fi today and ends the 4th of November so be sure to get that.

Speaking of Mario Kart

If you're going to do an NES racing game, good luck with that.

I'd like to hack:
Pulseman (possibly)
Klonoa (any of them)
Gunstar Heroes
Seiken Densetsu 3

And many others, but I think I'd prefer to make my own engine and a fan game that way there are far less limitations and far less having to tinker around with things till it works the way I want it to. Just gotta learn how to program...

Well, it doesn't matter, I just sav'd all I needed to see and got the national dex, I tried Chaining and managed to get to 40 on Togepi, but it's gay and I can't leave my computer on all night so I had to turn off the game, I wish Save states would actually work with Pokemon on No$GBA.

Oh well, I'm gonna eventually just play the Battle Frontier.

that was a concept sprite, I could do it over if you like it at all, this is the second sprite I did in the style:

I dunno if the NES could handle that exactly, but from what I could tell it could possibly the way Megaman works, maybe without the red it'd work.

But yeah I could possibly do the graphics if you'd like.

Hmm... updated sprites... I could see what I can do, those sprites you linked to on Sprites-inc look awesome.

As far as the title screen, why not use new art? I mean yeah that pose from Wily Wars is cool and all, but can we try all new graphics? It could be like Megaman redrawn.

Also I'm gonna have to know if I'm going to be restricted to the original game's mappings for Megaman and the like.

I did a couple of sprites of Elecman based on the Power Fighters poses, should I do different ones or keep going? I was trying to do his stage select Icon but I'm having trouble sizing it properly.
