I've been hacking the game, and since I can't for the life of me find any documents with this information on how to do this, and I've been trying to find it myself through corruption, but I'm not getting anywhere... Has anyone done any really good documentation on this game?

Eliminate the shrinking, I have a robot in the game and his figure wouldn't work very well when you shrink.

If not able to just stop that new set of sprites loading up, does anyone know how to do the mappings? I can try to work it, but Doki Doki Panic started with no shrinking so it HAS to be possible.

Mappings for enemies and their palettes, I need to change the palettes for some enemies I've made.

Text editting, I need to edit the text.

All help is appreciated.

(Anyone think we should have a Document archive thread?)

Thank you, I wasn't aware of this site. I tried looking on Zophar and Romhacking.net, but I didn't get anything besides a few utilities. I'll be sure to bookmark it. Thanks for your help!

There aren't "roms" so to speak, there are "isos" which are disc images.

However, I'm not providing any links. It's illegal and this board doesn't allow posts to roms of any sort so good luck finding something that it's a bunch of virus' and spyware.

I was playing through Bucky o' hare earlier and noticed the Blue Planet I think it was Act 5, but on the real hardware it has the barrels that move up and down, and in FCEUltra it glitches up and Bucky or whoever you're playing as falls through the floor. And then you come out at the top and it's impossible to continue.

I was wondering what is the most accurate NES emulator, I have Jnes I think it was, but it's colors are borked.

If this should be in rom hacking, please move it, there used to be a general emulation forum but it doesn't exist now.

Ok, thanks, I guess I'll check it out, I think I downloaded that one before and it ran oddly... I'll just try again then I suppose.

Are the colors supposed to be so dark/washed out?

Curses... you kinda took my idea, but my "Megagirl" is "Megawoman" and she is pink and red and well... I find her cute, but due to the limits of Megaman and the frustration that is trying to get the mappings to line up correctly, the hack will never be anything more than a dream unless I learn how to program, I wanted to make a Megaman engine like the 8-bit games and port them to a computer safe format engine thing... but I dunno if that will ever happen...

By the way: "Megawoman" because that's a gay name and I can't think for the life of me of a good one for her...

those are my two best sprites of her.

I dunno, Maybe Giga Girl? With Mega and Giga being somewhat related.

Maybe, I was thinking of another name for her, like without his helmet and all Megaman is just Rock (or Mega because stupid Capcom decided to destroy all the sense the original Megaman 1 made with their remake.) I was thinking something with L's but I just can't find anything to roll off the tongue. I like Giga Girl by the way, mind if I use it?

It's a little animation I've been working on, I don't know what the character is or what it's named, it was just a random creation, it's still a work in progress but I'm still thinking of where to go with it, I've had an idea but I have no clue what the body should look like. I think the anger anime marks are a bit much and should probably only show up above his head or on it, but I'll work more on this later, like Friday.

The original idea was that he has a sword under the cloth he's wearing, but it didn't come out quite the way I imagined it would... (I'll probably make this type of animation later with a different character.)

I guess it's all to preference, I have NEStopia to use color settings which make it look like it does on my TV, so I'm happy enough.

This was going to be part of a scrolling background in a Sonic hack, I just can't stand how you have to hack Sonic games in order to put in custom art.

I was inspired by Super Mario World Redrawn to attempt my own redrawn game, someone suggested removing the brown from under his eyes and I don't know what looks better so someone tell me what they think.

I've only done one Tail for his Tail animations...

As you can tell this hack is still in very early stages.

Later, I'm going to post some pics from my Pokemon hacks.

Well, this looks familiar...

Wow, how original... well lets step outside, this is not really looking like much more than a sprite change for the hero...

Huh? I'm in Pallet Town?

OK, too weird, lets go inside the lab.

P-p... Professor Oak?

OK, too weird... lets look at a Pokéball then.

whao... They even have the right sound for when you select them... interesting. (You could totally tell that from pictures right?)

I decided to choose Bulbasaur.

I wonder...

well, not like this area changed any... it was like this when I got here... moving on...

Huh...

yep... the Pokemon League entrance... too bad I don't have any badges.

Also, I'm just working on the maps for now, I need to fix some stuff, for example Route 1's exit makes it impossible to get to Viridian city with the original map from Red/Blue. I always wanted to play Red/Blue on Gold/Silver's engine so I decided to make it happen. I don't have a name for it yet, but I'm opting for code name Golden Red.

Anyways, time to look at all those hacking documents I've collected over the years so I can make this hack perfect! My original hack Pokemon Snow is being put on hold as this hack will be perfect practice...

My hack may be a remake, but it will be more than that, I get to create a 3 years prior to Gold Silver and Crystal Johto. Besides, it's mostly practice for my real rom hack and all hackers have to start somewhere, besides just about everyone loves Gold Silver and Crystal and there is a lack of good/complete hacks in that area.

I'll posts pictures of my other hack which isn't a remake later, however this is my nth time restarting the entire thing.

I still haven't beaten the game yet, I only have one green star IIRC, I love this game and it needs more people to buy it because it's really underplayed.

Megaman Anniversary Collection >.>

I dunno, my personal Favorite are 2, 1, X1, 5, 3, X4, 6, X2, 4, X5, X6, 7, 8. Although I do like the fanmade Megaman 7 8bit considerably better than the SNES version.

Since when do starters have attacks that can do devastating damage on their first fight? Tackle, Growl, Leer or in Turtwig's case Withdraw... yeah not seeing any major type advantages there. Later in the game it becomes more of a Rock Paper Scissors thing.

I know it's not going to happen, but I would love for this to be 8bit styled... maybe even as an unlockable, I love the 8bit Megaman style, and the games. I mean just look at Megaman 7 Famicom, much better than the SNES version IMO.

OK, so recently in the last months or so, I've been turning off my computer to find that every single day it has to update, and I can't figure out why? There can't be that many things that need to be updated on this computer and it was never like this before... I don't know what I started doing wrong but I can't find any problems and it never says what it's updating, it just does.

Any idea what's going on here? Or am I not alone?
