I'm working on Time man's sprites, I'm just wondering if you want me to do a run style like Jewelman, Geminiman, and Snakeman where they keep the same head but have their body change sprites, or like Gravityman where he turns when he is walking? (I've only just noticed very few Robot masters actually walk...)
If it's like Jewelman... ect. I already have two frames done but I'm having trouble with the third one where his left leg would be the one that he's stepping on while the other is hanging in the air. This is what I have so far: (I figured an image would help for what I have so far) ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

something about it still kinda bothers me, but I looked at Megaman's frames to help me decide what to do. I'm still going to have trouble making his attack frames, it'd be easier if I had actually played Megaman Powered up. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

Thanks Googie, I'll be sure to watch those.
Also I started a WIP of Gutsman's stage tiles, I don't know how many tiles I can use up to, I didn't bother to look into Megaman 5 to see how many tiles can be loaded on a stage, but this is just a mock up wip thing. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

As much as I would like to make his head bob, the majority of bosses in Megaman don't have that happen to them due to tile limits. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

Just wanted to post another wip, this time Oilman's level... I'm still working on some polish.
If you can figure out the limits for the tile sets I'd appreciate it. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

About Timeman's level... we're going to have to dumb down the graphics from what I can tell because the background in his stage has all this huge stuff moving around, I don't know if the NES can handle that with so few tiles available.
I started some tiles, but they're not done enough yet for me to post anything... If you don't mind I'll probably want to do Iceman's level then the rest are up for grabs. I just need some practice with snowy/icy levels. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

Looking good, I need to work more on my wads, but every time I try to make something like a decorate object or anything it doesn't work for some reason O_o...; ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

I was trying to use Decorate to just create literally a decoration, a non interactive one. I wanted to work my way up to monsters, but for the most part all I get is a {!> on the level instead of the graphic I want. I just wanted some stalagmites from the ceiling and since I thought I was doing something wrong I copied and pasted from a wad where it actually worked and I still get the {!>.
If you can help I can PM you a link to the wad and you could check things out, it's my first wad and my other one is a "surprise". ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

To be honest I nearly forgot about this... I can't really find any good pictures of the textures used in the levels, and I don't own Powered Up so It's a challenge to make tiles... on top of that youtube doesn't always have the best videos to look at either. ____________________ Why are you reading this? Posted by Googie God... did someone spaz on a midi keyboard and call it music? Or is it a requirement for a lot of pirated games to have terrible or god awful music? Hopefully your hack uses music that doesn't make my ears bleed. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

I'm not going to quote your post since it's right above mine, but according to Inafune, he said Megaman Powered up is what he originally wanted Megaman 1 to look like but due to the limitations of the consoles of the time he had to go with a different style. ____________________ Why are you reading this? well, I've been playing for about 5 hours now, and I'm up to Azalea. I've been taking my time, but also I'm rather disappointed that they fixed some stuff, (Falkner's levels in the Gym) and neglected to fix some other stuff (Level's of the wild Pokemon in the Ilex Forest) However I like that you can trade right after you get the first badge (on wi-fi that is) and no dex restrictions, so props for that at least.
Though these games leave a lot to be desired in some areas of polish, I thought for sure they'd fix the wild levels, I mean in Red Yellow and Blue the Pokemon were all around or in the low mid teens after Mt. Moon right before the 2nd Gym, and you don't get that in Heart Gold and Soul Silver till after the 2nd Gym... I question why they did this in the originals, but I really wonder when they do it in the remakes... I mean they did a ton of redesigning of areas and what not, and that's all nice and all. I just wish we didn't have to hack the games to make them more enjoyable... I hope I can get around to changing the levels when the American versions are released... hopefully. So long as my router cooperates and I can back up my game from my actual DS card. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

If I actually knew how to work with this editor I'd love to make my own levels, as this is one of my favorite games ever made. I guess I could look it up, has anyone tried making new levels yet on these boards? ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |
