Heres some of my graphical stuff.

Unfinished Toad SMB3 sprites for a hack idea I have, and some mostly complete SMB3 foreground. Alot of peoples hacks don't have the corner pieces right.

Hoax for my hack.

Dunno if ya'll would be intrested in my other stuff. D:

It looks like it was cut-and-pasted out of SMB2, to be honest.
Its a reshade, but its not much special, just wanted some crit on it.

(Toad's shirt suddenly has sleeves?).
Thanks for that, I didn't notice. D:

Yes the blocks are reshaded from NSMB, they're from a sheet I edited.

A basic reshade of the NSMB sprites I showed here a few months ago. Icegoom did a better job than I did. >.>

I don't think the feet really match the art style YI has/its icons. And a wild guess is that something hatches from a Yoshi egg, probaly an enemy, dunno.

Eh, I tried.

Luigi-san: It might well be 45 it was a while ago I messed with the points. Glad you are aware of it anyway.

Shadic: Draw your own karter and Luigi-san might put you in Why? Well drawing the karters is a long and depressing job!

Actually, I do it time to time, and other Mario Kart like game ideas, I got a completed sheet, but I'm not good enough cause I'm a newbie. I can show ya some of my old ideas that never got anywhere if you like.

Edit: Actually, it appears their either on my Dads pc, or lost in a PC crash. Or I'm not looking on my travel disk good enough.

Not good enought in terms of the graphics drawing or to put them in to the game?
Putting them into the game, but they're not hard to do in Paint, you just need a sense of how the character would turn on each angle/rotaion/whatever.

Anyone out there who's decent at making levels and isn't too busy with their own hacks, Lost World would get done a lot faster if you could contribute an area or two.
I'd volunteer, but my older levels aren't that great, and those are all that I got publicly of my levels I've made. I'd make newer levels, but I still need to learn about adding graphics into SMW (ones I did sorta). But yeah, I won't mind if you say no.

Shadows running sprites don't seem like hes running much, and the level seems that you'll require the super forms to get through it, and I didn't get that feeling of it being as fun of a stage as Act 1 gave me. >:

I've not changed the palette yet.
Best looking Super Mario Kart Wario sprite I've seen.

Question: Will there be all new race tracks, or just tracks looking similar to the old ones?

New status bar

Shown here is the warning shown when you're low on air

The only problem is the pipes underwater pallete, but I think thats due to pallete limitations.

Hmm. The ground tiles seem incomplete when it comes to corners and walls. Might wanna fix that.

Thunderspeeeeeeeed. <3

I was wondering what happened to your hack. D: Personally I don't think your old GHZ tiles don't fit. I'll give you other crit on AIM cause I'm lazy, once I get AIM back on that is. -.-

ROAR!

A clue: the sprites are from GBA games, But not the same.
Some look like they come from Sonic Advance 3.

It'd be even better if someone could put in the veggie pull thing from SMB2, and then even get elements from SMA4 SMB3. (E-Reader cards)

Hello.

I've been on Youtube lately, and seen a number of Super Mario Kart hacks, as the topic title implies, so I've been wanting to get my hand at it as well. To be more specific, I've wanted to do something on those lines for a long time. Now I've seen the program before that can edit the tracks design, but thats not where I have questions.

1. How can I go and edit pallets/tiles/sprites in a Super Mario Kart ROM? This would include character tiles, and track tiles as well.
2. This is something that's really bothering me by the lack of knowing: How can the other 7 racers path be changed to follow a custom course, and get rid of Lakitus "reverse" thing as well.

Hope these questions can be answered. Thanks.

Thanks. What tile editor would be best suggested?

It's been so long that I did hack related things, I got kind of nooby again. Pardon the dumb questions.

CHM file?

Compiled HTML Help File
Wouldn't have been that hard for you to figure out yourself...
Was that referred to me? I opened it easily. It suggests Tile Molestor, but I'm not sure if Tile Layer Pro or YY CHR would be best for a beginner, based on others experience.

:x
