Just wanted to let everyone know that Megaman Ultra 2 is still a WIP. It's my 2nd installment of my "Ultra" series. Megaman Ultra 2, is a rom hack based off the Megaman 4 rom. I began work on this project back in May 05.
sorry for the lack of screenshots, there's tons of suprises, and I dont want to spoil anything.

WOW! I'm so thrilled that Megaman Ultra still has replay value, more than a year after. It means so much to read that, and it makes all the work I'm doing now so worth while. A promise to everyone. You will not be disapointed with this one.
p.s. I'll try to see what I can scrounge up for screenshots down the road. *edit* Capcom Presents

My Original "ULTRA" Design
Dr. Mario "ULTRA" Design 
As you can tell, it's a bit off centered. I tried designing it 3 different ways to fit, but i wont stay centered. I also did a little modification to the "L" in YY-CHR. I felt it was way to close to the "U". So I pulled the "L" 1 step to the right. Anyway, I like your design. Any other ideas? |

yeah that boss was a bitch huh? lol. none of the bosses in this game are anything like the wily bosses. I went extremely overboard in the 1st Ultra. i tried making the game without players requiring save states, but that failed, lol.
I also want to say again, that everything is going to be different. I'm dealing with a bigger rom, than MM2. The levels in MM2 are extrememly small, where as in MM4, they're extremely huge. Level designs will not be a problem in this hack. I have some incredible ideas that I was unable to do in MM2, but I'm able to do now. Furthermore, I'd just like to say Thank You, to everyone for their conintued interest in this hack. Dr.Mario - Are you talking about putting the green shadows under the letters, like the ones you see in the actual Mega Man logo? |

I'd like to thank Kuja Killer for informing me on this.
An anonymous YouTube user uploaded a small snippit of the original Megaman Ultra in play. The user left me a very nice comment. I dont know how many times I can say this, but it makes me so happy, that all this hard work I did, more than 2 years ago, is still appreciated, and still drawing players to it! OMFG!!
I love this game!! MY grandmother bought it for me when i was a little kid. None of my friends knew of this game. This game is so cool. Upgrading the gun, and Whip weapon! It took me 15 years to figure out how to get into the house surrounded with bushes, and to find that's where the health upgrade was. Sorry for the nostalgic trip, but this is a very close dear title to me, along with all megamans for the nes. I'll be checking back here more often now!! |
