I didn`t find a normal shooter sprite at SMW Central. Maybe I should double check.

The whole thing is, I'm trying to use a launcher (without showing the hand) to generate koopa shells that pop out of pipes. Kind of like the goombas crawling out of the vertical pipes in NSMB. It would also be nice if it played a sound as it generated the sprite. :/

Thanks. Now all I need to do is find the list of sound effects in hex and I'm all set. Unfortunately, I can't find it at SMWiki.
EDIT: It plays the sound when the sprite appears onscreen. How can I make it play the sound every time the launcher descends the sprite?

You can't. What are you going to fire the other end of the portal at?
What ABW said. It's a solid room. The floor, walls, and ceiling are just...solid. You can only shoot portals onto one of the 6 surfaces in the room (and possibly the catgirl), you're still stuck there. Durr.
But if the surfaces were black?

smwedit, where can I find the code used for the Chomp Rock to use palette A? I want to change it to palette D because in my hack, I already have an important used in that space.

Heh... For some reason, I always thought that dynamic and other certain sprites couldn't have their palettes changed in the .cfg editor. Thanks anyhow.

Not to be picky, but when you mentioned the codes that were to be used for the YI Crate sprite you mentioned in your last post, how is the progress of the sprite?

Ooh wow I've been looking forward to a chomp rock. Do you think you could make an alternate version that doesn't require that patch? Something with a simple graphic setup, maybe without the face? I'm trying to use as few patches as possible but would really like to use that sprite.
Unfortunately, if you want a Chomp Rock that uses every possible frame in YI, it would require to use all the SPs in Lunar Magic.

Well I'm impressed with the Chomp Rock but I'm quite shocked that the Chomp Rock doesn't interact with slopes just like in YI. Also, Mario can fall off the Chomp Rock easily if he tries to move it by leaning on one part of the sprite. But it is still a very nice sprite.

During the last few weeks, one character has been confirmed per week as well as a song from a specific game that we haven't seen/heard yet. This week, we're bound to get Captain Falcon and a song from the F-Zero games. My guess in the original F-Zero Port Town theme (jazz style FTW)
