I've reviewed all my posts from the 2nd archive, and I've come to the conclusion that I was an arrogant, clueless jackass. Sorry guys. :'(
I'm better now though, right? =P ____________________

Those look excellent! I'm aware the Mario/enhanced original graphics are premade (I forget who made them - was it Googie? Bad memory ftw!), but the personal touched you've made to the other levels look excellent! I'm quite fond of the level design and color scheme as well, nice job. ____________________

Do the graphics appear to be 3D, or are you SURE they're actual sprite graphics? If the former is true, it's very possible that the game may be using a software based 3D renderer, converting polygons in realtime to uncompressed bitmaps and loading them to VRAM.
I'm not sure how practical compressing constantly updated art on the GBA is anyway - can it handle it well without lagging? I've not messed with GBA much. ____________________

Wow, this is brilliant! You'll have to run through with me on editing the music, and maybe I could help you out a bit. =P ____________________

The way music data is compiled in Sonic 3 & Knuckles is extremely inconsistent. While, say, Sky Sanctuary uses a lot of nifty branching techniques to save space, the music for Hidden Palace is HUGE - and I mean about 10KB. This is because they simply tacked one note after another, and used NO looping techniques at all whatsoever. It's a pain to sift through. ____________________

It used to be on OCRemix in the SMW section, but, after searching, I can't find it anymore... I managed to scour Google a bit and found the original module of it. Kinky. (note: Maybe it was VGMix. I don't remember anymore :x) It's called "You suck at Super Mario Bros 4!" And it's pretty much a funky NES cover of a few of the tunes in Super Mario World. I think it sounds awesome, personally - I remembered hearing it a couple of years back, and wanting to do so again. I guess I got my wish. =P Someone totally needs to make a real NES version of this. Since it's a module, all the original sequencing is there, so... =P ____________________

Posted by XkeeperPosted by TweakerImpossible; the NES has what, 4 channels (2 square waves, triangle, noise) and this uses at least 5 (open the tracker window). The "5th" channel you speak of is the DPCM channel, which the NES definitely has. ____________________

Basically something like IPB - a small login field near either the top or bottom of the board, so you don't have to click "login" before you can actually log in.
Just something I'm used to, is all. It'd be nice. =P ____________________

Posted by The Kins I'd be more inclined to think it'd be called "hotfix" or something similar... But I guess that'd be beating around the bush. =P But yeah, I'd say either lack of comments, or lack of time to properly fix the aforementioned issues (maybe both!) lead to why they were fixed as sloppily as they were. It's also possible that there might be more formal revisions of SMW, with these bugs properly fixed - did you check SMAS+SMW for changes other than Luigi's sprites? ____________________
