I tried patching my headered ROM with UIPS and it corrupted it.
I tried again with SNES9X's internal patching system and it worked wonders.

Maybe it works, if you patch with SNESTool.

In the left corner of the screen, there's a small map that displays the track. Will that also be editable in your editor?

Blackhole: I can't, as the only NES emu I can run at the moment is nesDS.

Which doesn't have a screenshot function. :/

Try RockNESX. That has Screenshot options.

Since an actual BG tilemap viewer is a bit far off (no actual tilemap per track just yet), this tileset viewer should help a bit. It reacts to palette changes, which by default are in palettes 6-7.

And yes, you need to dupe the rows you want to switch into 'free' space when you dupe panels.

The 2x2 tiles max out the area of RAM they are allocated. It's not possible to expand without a rather awkward hack that would instead of loading the 2x2 tiles from RAM, would load them from ROM.

As I did with the panel selector, I'll show usage (occurances) of 2x2 tiles and rows. I'll have that tomorrow, it's no trouble implementing.

Nice BG Tileset viewer. Hope the BG tiles are editable.

Did anyone download the Super Metroid Maridia Crates BG and The Lion King Pride Rock before Sendspace deleted them? If so, can you post a link to these 2 BGs here? I want to submit them to SMWCentral. Those 2 BGs were ripped by me. It's just that I can't dowload them. That's why I'm making this topic.

If you deleted them, then you obviously didn't want them that much.

pieguy lies! I deleted those, because I could have dowloaded them anytime from SendSpace. I only wanted to make space in my PC. I didn't know those guys from SendSpace deleted them after a few weeks.

Every time I try to open Megaman.nes in this editor, it doesn't want to open. It says something about an .ini file.

all data for the AI is there, i just have to implement it while fixing a couple other bugs...

give this f-zero editor a try, it edits track AI, although it's tricky to use. it is fully functional though if you learn how to use it though.

http://sldnoonmoon.hp.infoseek.co.jp/neo/fuzee/index.html

WHen I open it, it says fzero and something in japanese that I can't understand. How to open it?

Since SMWC is "unaccesable" right now, I'm goin' to post my final version of NSMB Tower ExGFX here. I'm known as somebody else in SMWC.

What do you think?

Goold level. My status bar was meant to be ignored in this case. I playes with that SMW Status Bar EDitor that I screwed it. And the video is just for GFX demonmstration. No more object palettes can fit.

I usually don't post too much on this site, but I have to say that this editor IS amazing. I'll try hacking some NSMB levels with this. An extremely well done Treeki!

Thank you both. I haven't considered names yet since I been at it since January 2009 only... As far as everything goes, I make it as I go.. meaning I also do the dungeons/houses while doing the exteriors.. So I don't focus too much on overworlds. You may have noticed the perspective changed quite a bit? Well I even went throught the trouble of changing it for the dungeons aswell, see:

And amazingly enough it works for the most part.. I'm currently having trouble with the doors as they are symmetrical for either sides so currently all locked doors are facing north and the entrances are well, you see... But still, I'm impressed HyruleMagic let's you save those tiles edits.

Graphics are awesome indeed. I hope you finish this Zelda hack. And I hope you also change enemy GFX and boss GFX(optional).

Actually Kawa, that Pepsi truck looks good. It resembles the present. Still, it's SePH's choice to decide if he should keep that Pokemon-stlyde truck or not. I am waiting for that Zelda 3 A link to the future kind hack SePH.

I've worked on my z3 hack yet again. So now instead of just having a modern and a post apocalyptic world, I'll split them into six or more different ones.. Each themed accordingly of course..

1- 900 years after Parallel Worlds (after an asteroid ravaged the land)
2- Waterworld (pretty much self explanatory)
3- Space Colony (and space too!, bunny link will be an astronaut)
4- Earth (in ruins, pretty much due to a similar event that destroyed most of the parallel worlds landspace)
5- Future Hyrule (ten thousand years after the asteroid reshaped the land, the world has regained it's prosperity once more)
6- Gaming Land (this is where you'll get your cameos fix)

Nothing too fancy, but still, here's part of one of the worlds you'll be able to visit. Not finished but oh well, tired, need sleep!

I plan to make big things for this hack, but time constrains keep me from making real progress, hopefully my vacation in a month will change that.

Those graphics look great Seph. Can't wait to play your hack.

Now what would be a new hack without a title screen? I've made a quick one, which I might change of course, but now I've got a name.. Thanks in part for MathOnNapkins for one of his replies..

Now you might be pondering why it's Link, not Zelda, well probably because you won't be playing Link this time, rather someone else which I'll figure out, but I'm pretty sure Link could replace Zelda in a way...

WOW! Your title screen kicks ass! It is much better than the one in Zelda Paralel Worlds.
