Yeah, im almost done with the whole system.

WOOOOOO0000000ooooooot

I can't wait to try out the editor

Perhaps a zelda rpg?
I am thinking of making a smrpg hack based off the Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons manga.

It'd be a good choice anyways.Why?The characters.They fit the actions the current smrpg characters do..

Link=Mario(Obviously)
Malo=Maple
Geno=The bird guy that rides link..
Bowser=Ricky
Peach=Din

Yeah.
If it was a just plain layer effect then the screen wouldn't follow the main mario while other ones died.

Then tell acmlm to implement a post delete button, or I will continue doing that if I feel the need to "delete" my post.

Sorry if I was a bit rude, Sakusa.
But I seriously have no other way to delete posts.

Semi-back on topic:
I know this may be a bit too early to ask, but any luck with cracking SMRPG's music and modifyeing it?

Im pretty sure that SMRPG has a different music engine all together. It sucks, cause I was hoping to allow importing from any squaresoft game but doesnt look all too likely atm. It wont be in the initial release.

Not that we are expecting it to be ;p
We appreciate a smrpg editor as it is, and smrpg has nice music anyways.An after-math expansion for Lazy-Shell to support music would be nice.
TAKE YOUR TIME.

If this is going to be really working, then you're both the best programmers I know here.

Yes, I totally agree.
This may be equal, if not, better than lunar magic.And people have wanted to hack SMRPG for years.Maybe his will let us people who don't know how to code programs design our own hack of SMRPG.

Im working on the Events editor, but its going slowly. Its tedious to program and not interesting at all. Also between midterms and me getting sick not much has happened as of late.

The editor probably needs another 20-30 hours work.

Ah, okay.So that could probably range from 2 weeks to 2 months.

All I can say is take your time because it will be event more smexy.
This will be the next Lunar magic

Good luck with your midterms though.

Hey, I have a question.

Lets say we are putting in golden sun characters.It'd look stupid if they used attacks like "Jump"
So that brings me to my point:Can we make our own attack animations?

You can change everything about the attack except the animation.

Is it possible to swap it with another animation at least?

The battle scripts are finished. The event scripts are the next obstacle to completion. There have been updates to the gui for the sprite editor which accomodate for editing the dialogue font graphics, window frame graphics, and the world map points.

Also there are screenshots here and the program's help topics are online if you want to look at those too. Everything that you can modify with the program (in the stats and level portions only so far) is explained there.

Awesome.Good work!
I can tell its close to release >=D
