Haha! How nice! I played around with it a little...

First thought I had was 'WTF? What happened to the clipdata?' I noticed that those clipdata entries which have a text which is too long (dunno how long) are split. The second part is then placed on the next line, after that line comes the one that should belong there. But I'm seeing great improvements on this project!

i tried to continue to edit my game but I screwed it up, but I think it had been screwed up before :/ (glitched back layer)

I love that origins hack and the fact that you could take off equipment (as I said, it was crucial to go on in the game).

So you're doing a hack yourself, I hope it's gonna be good (and not a joke hack or just a demonstration, something like Demo World: The Legend Continues for SMW would be neat tho ;P), are you gonna release a demo of your hack with your next DH version? (Maybe you'd want to find a way to 'lock' hacks )

Aw man yes

I started to go deeper into DH lately and for some reason the Back Layer of room 3 in Brinstar messed up for me (of course after editing it)...
Also when I started a new hack and tested it after opening and saving it with DH, the Level Data of the first room was completely gone.
In overall this version is still quite buggy so I'd love to see the next version

(also the stuff with switching rooms without saving)

Say, is it gonna be possible SOMEDAY (means if you develop DH to the bloody end with lots of neat features) to make your own items for some ability... like the wall jump boots in Super Metroid Redesign? Or some item that allows you to speed jump... (you know, crouch while having speed, then pressing jump)

Excuse me interdpth, but

Saving hangs up the program. I have no idea why. (Maybe it's too weak or something.)

When I save, the CPU Usage meter of DH goes to maximum (mostly 99) and it stays like that until I end the process. I once left it 'save' for 15 minutes or so and it still wasn't done... I don't know what's the problem...

What a coincidence that when I joined this board back in 2004 first thing I did was look for a MvDK level editor, it was the game I mostly wanted a level editor for. Haven't been here half a year, now I decide to check in again and see this thread, created just a couple of minutes ago. Heh.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure somebody mentioned the level editing thing/byte stuff about a year ago, but some random newbies or lazy people (like me) wouldn't try it that way as it'd cause chaos (for me at least)

I'd still love to see a full-fledged external MvDK editor in future sometime.
