No mention of Thunder Force IV? For shame.
Tan Tan Ta Ta Ta Tan Fighting Back Evil Destroyer Stand Up Against Myself Omake 2 And plenty more! They're all really good songs, so check the rest out. Or play the game. And then there's Space Invaders '91, which sounds pretty damn good; Trouble Shooter Daiginjou has some really neat songs; Twilight Express Virtua Racing Deluxe has some great tunes, although due to being VIRTUA RRRRRACING they're all pretty short. So, someone put them all(?) into one video. Done by the same guy as Virtua Racing Deluxe (i.e. Naofumi Hataya), The Hybrid Front has some great music too; Rebellion Fight BGM 1 Sukarabe Fight BGM 3 Super Fantasy Zone has some great music. It was composed by the team at Sunsoft. Yeah. Picnic Fancy Promenard Good Evening! Vilily Slap Fight MD has some really good music, mostly composed by Yuzo Koshiro. Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master has an excellent soundtrack (as does its prequel, Revenge of Shinobi, but if I went through that my post would become twice as large). Shinobi He Runs Also, another game with good music; Cosmic Carnage. The following songs are accredited to Hikoshi Hashimoto. There are loads of other songs I would have included, but there are no YouTube videos of them and seeing as that's the norm for this topic thus far... yeah. Also, this is getting unmanageably long. You're complaining about dash being assigned to the shoulder buttons, where it's a hell of a lot more comfortable to use considering the shape and size of the DS as compared to an average controller, not to mention the lack of other things to assign there? For shame.
I didn't see this topic before, but I've been playing this collection - and it's really damn great. While the fact that the screen isn't fully expanded to fill the top screen is a bit of a downer (they forgot how to edit their own maps?), it's forgivable. The games run really well on the DS, and are accurate ports. There aren't really any additions to the games to speak of, barring the Mod Cards for MMZ3, which I haven't had a chance to try yet. ____________________ Love your lawn. |

"Clash on the Big Bridge" is a pretty nice song, sure, but I prefer the less rockin' and more epic "A New Galactic Empire". (Probably won't change much, though.)
While "Within the Giant" is a fairly good song, "Field of Expel" sounds better to me. They're both 'epic' songs, and it seems more 'epic' than the other. ____________________ Love your lawn. |

"Fate" is the sorta song you need to hear in the game to get, so I'm going with "Fury Sparks".
Neither of the songs in match 12 really sound that good to me, but "Venus Lighthouse" still sounds a lot better than the other one. ____________________ Love your lawn. |

While the other song is pretty good, "The Sacrifice, Part III" surpasses it quite a bit in terms of greatness.
Meanwhile, I can't help but feel the "MGS2 Main Theme" sounds rather generic: a good song, sure, but in the end my vote goes to "Stardust Road". ____________________ Love your lawn. |

Well, considering the theme songs for the other MGS games, it is a rather generic one. Like "Snake Eater", and the MGS4 theme...and even then, when you leave the realm of MGS theme music, the actual games have some songs that are better too! For this round, I'm gonna go for "The Justice Ray". Much more "epic" than the other song, which sounds rather "non-epic" to me.
The other round is a tough one, mainly because "Wisdom of the World" is a rather nice song... and "Dark Beasts as Black as the Night" is a rather awesome one. But, evidently, it seems like the winner for me is "Dark Beasts as Black as the Night". ____________________ Love your lawn. |

Assumptions are dangerous. You'd be better off using something that works, rather than something that was supposedly made with everyone behind it feeling better than the makers of practically everyone other anti-virus software. Considering how I generally don't see ClamWin in anti-virus comparisons, I'd say it's not too hot when it comes to actually doing its job. ____________________ Love your lawn. |
