So, with Adult Discussion gone... why not lose the "Uncategorized" category and put Spatula in "Fun and Games"? That might fit it better!

Pfft. That's a waste of technology.
Why waste it on a silly adult forum when we can use it to make pizza?

Integrated graphics editor..? I don't think that's a good idea. Instead I propose an integrated graphics de- and recompressor, so the user can edit the graphics in his or her tile editor of choice.
This also gives Windows and Linux users the opportunity to edit the graphics, if the original Mac user can't or doesn't want to do the job, for example.
What, you want people to have to decompress the graphics every time they want to edit them, load them into a tile editor, and then save and reimport them? All just to edit maybe just a few tiles?
I think you should just keep the internal graphics editor idea, with the importer/exporter as an extra option.

Partly it has to do with porting music to smw and maybe smas, the rest of it has do with fixing up the exported midi's and submitting it to certain music midi archivers.
Last I checked, sites like VGMusic didn't accept converted MIDIs.

I notice you've updated this script to v0.05... (main reason I'm bumping this thread, guys)
This is awesome! Although, you might want to fix the description that comes up without a file. (The IPS_PATCH and FILE1 parts are backwards.)

recreating the SimCity for SNES
I have to say, after playing the SNES SimCity for the first time, this is an awesome idea.

No, he didn't say anything about remaking the PC version; he still, I think, wants to hack the SNES version.

#2-Music editing
If you mean editing the actual tracks, there are some tools you can use for extracting the tracks in the game into MIDI files, and maybe even some to reimport them. You'd need to make sure that the instruments and stuff matched up, though, as most DS games rarely include the full MIDI set.

You say you're looking for a musician... have you hacked the game to make use of the extra sound channels that the VRC7 provides? Or, for that matter, figured out the sound format? Either way, it sounds rather interesting.

I'm no musician myself, though (although I do port music to SMPS).

And you copy and pasted this into the forums...
Actually, I typed it up by hand in IRC one lonely night and then pasted it here.

Sadly, I haven't had a true chance to play DK64, just a few snippets.

Rockman Peercast 1 is not such a good game anyway.
Let's just MOVE on and live with it.
Uh, how about no? This is a topic asking about the location of a romhack; comments like yours are unneeded.

I don't suppose you can link to those hacks? I've never heard of them, and I'd really like to hear the music in them.

Heck, if I knew how to work a hex editor to make music, I would make my own hack. But since Hex Editors are so complicated, I have to wait for other people to make hacks. Seriously, I tried one out yesterday and ended up doing nothing but staring at the screen I was so clueless as to what I was supposed to do.
I recommend you look for a guide to the Megaman music format; there's a good one on romhacking.net!

Hey, can you go and, like, learn how to speak English properly? I can't read ANYTHING you've said so far, as most of it reads as a meaningless jumble or gibberish.

Metroid: Other M
I think the name is pretty fucking stupid
I said the same thing when I saw that title. Worst name for a videogame ever. They couldn't think of anything better?
I hope it's one of those games that gets renamed; or just a game whose Japanese name hasn't been localized yet. Chances are slim, since games usually don't get renamed. Then again, Nintendo has done it before. (Wii)
According to an interview I read; nope. Other M, it seems, has a special meaning that will become clear as you play through... Other M. I think it's not that bad a name myself, but my opinion is obviously wrong. ._.

Judging from the new thread title

I think Cirvante would certainly "hit it"
