I live in Canada, Toronto

Not a lot of people know this, but Canada is actually part of Toronto.

Good:
Everything
->Great night life
->Highly multi-cultural = great food
->Really progressive attitudes
->Always something to do
->Awesome bars
->Decent transit system
->Lots of niche markets
->Al Waxman statue in Kensington Market

Bad:
Nothing, really
Less poverty than similar sized American cities
Less crime
Cleaner than comparable cities

Oh, and cheddar beer chips. Those things are unbelievable.

You see I live by a little shop that gets all sorts of crazy foods in. I get British snacks and a whole load of organo-healthiness snack things. It is great. The flavoured chipds that they get are heavenly

I have about 400+ pages of half-completed short stories and notes. I plan on getting a few of them finished and published.

Man, curry has nothing on tandorri. <3 Indian food.

Anyways, I've been digging into lots of vegetarian stuff. Making eggplant all over the place. Lots of cous-cous.

Oh, and I've already torn through about 4 colt 45s this week. They're a meal unto themselves.

I think it might make more sense to just post your info and then wait until "edit" is implemented and then we can move that chart to the first post and the info can be in there, you know, for future reference.

2000 dollars for 5 days and 2 people?

You couldn't afford to go to Europe. I just ran through a check of Detroit to Dublin. http://www.expedia.ca/pub/agent.dll?qscr=fexp&flag=q&city1=Detroit&citd1=Dublin&date1=11/6/2007&time1=362&date2=16/6/2007&time2=362&cAdu=2&cSen=0&cChi=0&cInf=&infs=2&tktt=&ecrc=&eccn=&qryt=8&bund=1&load=1&rfrr=&mcicid=&lnkcid=62

Have you considered perhaps going north to Canada and taking a train? Going to the west coast of the states? Heck, a cruise is more in your budget.

Actually, I was just talking about this very topic with my room mates. Have you considered a Balkan country to travel in? They're cheap, have amazing beaches and are gorgeous. Croatia is apparently quite nice, spending time on the Dalmatian coast would always be fun. You could be like Emperor Theodosius!

Sarajevo, Zagreb, Tirana, Sophia, Skopije, Belgrade, Podgorica, Ljubljana, . They should all have servicable airports.

My suggestion would be to buy a budget ticket to England and then at Heathrow you buy a ticket to anywhere you want to go. Prague is quite nice. Really, the best bet is just to buy one of those flights out of Toronto/Montreal/NYC and then the flights to anywhere in Europe are <100 bucks.

I worked for a broadband service last summer. Horror stories about everything.

Mine is pretty decent stuff, though. I dig the fact that when my room mates aren't around it goes at amazing speeds.

How much time do you figure I would have between flights? I have an uncle who lives outside London. Maybe I could visit him.

Not much, but there are LOTS of regional flights all over Europe. My buddy originally went to stay with family in Paris. Ended up doing a two month pub crawl in Berlin.
