Sure it does. People never thought that Madrid or London could happen, but it did. The Moscow Theatre Siege, Beslan, Bali. Each successful terror attempt is preceeded and followed by many failed terror attempts. The scale and gravitas that terrorism and its tactics encompass is going to gradually morph and change and grow.

I remember reading a group of articles from Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs, and a few other related publishments early in this year with academics stating that attacks on the US mainland are likely to shrink in scope and be carried out by smaller cells. Additionally, a few of the articles made mention of probable attacks on European cities and targets. Cities like Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, Berlin, Athens, various Balkan cities, and countless others are all breeding grounds for terrorist groups and your usual feed of 'disenfranchised, educated, unemployed young men.' It may not be Islamist, it may not even necessarily be overtly anti-American (the growth of the extreme right may eventually cause as large a domestic issue in European states as homegrown Islamist extremists). Of course, that does not change the fact that successful terror attacks are going to continue to be a rarity in the western world for at least the short-term of the foreseeable future.

It might be because I grew up so close to Sweden, or because I've met some idiot Danes in my life, or something or the other, but I really wanted Sweden to beat Denmark. Shame it happened in such a way, though. I think it's great if UEFA punishes Denmark with both awarding Sweden the win and makes them play 0-crowd home matches for a while, makes idiot drunken fans think before trying to assault the ref.

I wonder, though, if UEFA sets the scoreline to 3-0, obviously the goals scored will no longer be counted. However, Poulsen will still have to serve a suspension for his red card, right?

When you Wegis can riot like the Danes then you may bash down on them.

Well, it is basic monumentalism. Why have a rail when you can have a GIGANTIC FUCKING PIT!?

Why not launch a cluster of weaponized missiles towards a planet or just starve them with a blockade of Imperial forces when you can build a fucking moon that moves through space carrying a giant death laser.

I'm a Dawn of War junky, but I started with Age of Empires II and Command and Conquer.

It was fun, but the missions can be kind of hard.

DAWN FO WARASF?DSAF?QW$!@#?QW!E@?!~!!!!!!!

Man, possessed marine rush = <3 Chaos is just so awesome.

I gradually became more a fan of the Killakan rush and the Imperial Guard "hai thar, i be here u be thar. eat thsi basiliski!!!!!!". Man, Dawn of War was my poison in first year. Every couple of nights my friends and I would play that game. I actually once blew off a date in order to play a map that we created.

Warp Spiders = evil.

The Eldar are great. They just have so much style. I am still partial to the Orks and just how Orky they are.

Nah, I have a Mac and play it only when I'm at my buddies' places. However, I have played a touch of the Dark Crusade. I was underwhelmed with the Tau and peed myself with the Necrons.

Acclaim brand tissue? O_o

Surely unrelated to the gaming company, heh.

Given that they rock so hard at succeeding in video games, I don't doubt that they have moved into tissues.

The analogous situation was Tiger Telematics. They rocked at carpet making so clearly they became a video game company.

The best game of all time was already released. There is an unloved thread devoted to it. Give it some love and try it out.

Well it seems like it's in our universe this time.(AD) But I also wonder what implications that will have on the show or if they'll consider that much. (Maybe tie in specific present events to life 300 years from now?) Mobile suits go green? And I could honestly go a series or two WITHOUT something being dropped on earth. Or colonies having their populations massacred in some other gruesome way..

They could always do more stuff re: Mars, or something to do with the deepspace aspects of future life. Something like that may be cool.

Although TURN-A was probably my favourite series. <3

Public school rocks! I fucking look back at my grade 7/8 days and high school. I mean, it sucked while I was there, but I made it stupid for myself. Also, this board entered into my life then and kind of sucked up too much of time and made me into a socially awkward loser with an internet oriented social life!

Now I've forgotten proper netiquette and have an awesome IRL.

Back on topic, eh?

Look, I liked this board for a long time because there were interesting people that were fun to talk to. We could be asses, attack each other, but there were rarely, if ever, hurt feelings or anything along those lines. Over the past couple of months I have seen a lot of stuff happen to this community. I have seen it go through hard times. I have seen it go through good times. I think this is one of the worst times that it has faced. I have stood alongside this board, bored and disenfranchised, because I was drawn by people that (if the conditions permitted) would have probably made fairly good friends. Unfortunately, I do not feel that this board is a community anymore. Xk, I chose to continue on this board because the majority of the people I found fun to waste my time with were here. But continuously we have been disappointed by the lack of progress on the concept of leadership on this board. The community is basically a broken one - to the point that it cannot be fixed. Perhaps I am getting too old to sit around on a message board devoted to hacking Super Mario World. Perhaps I am too bitter. Perhaps I just do not get this joke. But I am absolutely sick and tired of the pomposity and lacking integrity of the board.

So, in summary

Reviewing:

I enter a thread where this a bunch of pretentious nothing going on and machismo.

I laugh at it.

People retaliate.

Thread is closed in a really poor decision lacking thought.

I reopen the thread with righteous indignity of the previous ruling and the language used.

Hiryuu comes in and basically acts the part of a very poor administrator.

Xk comes in and basically acts the part of a child.

Again, peace out.

PS: Koryo, you're the new me.
