:/ Stop making me wait for your mega man ultra sequel and stop all this tear shedding and apologizing.
Given all the work and research you put into hacking this old game to something way more differently.
I don't many people will have a issue with you, you need to look at what you learned and what skills you picked up.
Just continue doing what you do best, also I'm not upset about this.
I do have some personal issues with you dont want to bring up here publicly.

Given all that just be glad the project should be coming to a successfull close.

I think it would be a best choice if anyone does rom hacks from this point forward.
When your done with the finished hack or short demo...
Please note in your read me to tell people or rom carters not to use your hack to make my money or sell illegal.
State the date/time of the finished patch, include a legit email address just in case somethings happens and they know how to contact you directly.
Also note which rom/ips patch hosting sites may show your work publicly or not to.

If you want show case your work on a working system Nintendo dsi/Lite/3ds will do.
Test your work thorougly to make sure it works on official nintendo hardware and leave it that.
http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/
Real sad to see this starting to become a problem but you all can curve that issue mighty fast if you stick to the scrip like Puzzle an Insectduel mention..
Have a look at insectduels readme from his past finished hacks.
Thats a good example of all rom hackers should do.

This thread got off topic by the way.

However Nintendo is learning and actually made an official editor (a game actually) for Wii, with which you can make your own Mario levels.
http://e3.nintendo.com/games/wiiu/mario-maker/

I saw that on my 3ds e shop video at first glance I had to laugh at it.
Why you say ? well nintendo developers and programmers are starting to get the picture.
To let the gamers of the past and new generation make their own games every once and awhile.
That and so many previous editors are already out there for old and new rom hackers.
Atleast nintendo themselves might able to see what we do with it and may do other official editors for oldie games.

Longs as the editor is full featured with clear instructions I wouldn't mind taking a stab it for laughs.

"I've been playing through the game, and I made it to the skull level (the 4th dungeon) and after I died inside the dungeon and saved the game, now when I go back, the gate to the dungeon is once again closed, the "I am Error" guy is protecting the gate, and I no longer have a blue letter to show him to pass. I even went back to the dungeon 1 where I got it and its no longer there.

So I'm completely stuck. Is there another way into the dungeon, or have I stumbled onto a bug?"

I ask this because I really don't want to re-start from scratch.

Send your pm to infidelt ask him to check make sure the letter you got in dungeon 2 is permanent.
Also ask him to make sure error reads your approval letter he moves aside and disssappears for good.

Reminds me of the issue I see with most dungeons in his hack.
If you die in the middle of playing in it, hit save and come back to it later.
9 times out of 10 the game will reseal the dungeon lock.
Meaning you "link" must travel Lo-Rule fucking "AGAIN" and find another key if you don't have a spare. :/
Just ask infildelt to look into it for you and validate it to be true again.
Remember to save your sram file so you wont have to play through the whole game again.

He's on a "Roll", mike. He's on a "Roll"

...is that...ADULT Roll?!

Actually no its from the american anime/cartoon MegaMan 1994-1995.
To be perfectly honest I don't like how this roll was made by capcam.
Her hair style is abit to 60's era like the japanese anime of megman is way much better than this.

I think the current roll is more then enough thus I see why insectduel had the idea to make a rom hack out of her.

Yes its possible but make sure you know what your doing or you may end up with 2 non bootable hard drives.

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/3809-73-dual-booting-windows

Thats one way to do it be sure to look at the best answer in that thread.

Or you could magically boot into windows 8 first and make it the primary drive.
Next you shutdown your machine and connect your second hard drive.
Go back into windows 8 and use windows disk managment tool make it a secondary primary drive.
http://www.disk-partition.com/windows-8/format-hard-drive-windows-8.html
Note: for data and back up I suggest you store your back ups on your windows 8 drive.
If the drive has more than 320gb split the drive and make a logical partition.
I suggest you give it 100gb of its own space you don't touch it, look at it or bother it for shit.
Not unless your going to back up somethings very important to you.
Say like smw hacking crap, rom hacking projects, school work programming projects or etc.
If you can do it this way or from the one of the links I provided that would be best for you currently.

Excuse me,sir...I need your help...I downloaded the hacking utilities of yours that I came across and I noticed that it's a DLL file and can't quite figure out how to use the source, thus open the program itself...Can you give me a tutorial on how to get KompreSS opened and working so that I can start hacking Kirby Super Star and show off my brilliant talents upon you and everyone else...Please,sir...I'll do anything if you help me on this.

I ask that you please not bump old threads like this without new information. As you can see, Sukasa hasn't been on in years. Furthermore, I'm not liking how you're coming across as desperate, stating you'll do "anything" for another users help. For the future, just ask and refrain from begging and/or swearing. In any event, whether this was a sincere post or not, this is your warning. --ShaneM

You can stop your now, problem is that you forgot to the lock thread.
Sure you made a good comment on sukasa being gone you seem to have forgotten this 5 year old thread was bumped up and it should have been closed immediatley.
Close the thread to prevent any further problems, if the guy wants help he can go back to jul and ask sukasa that personally.

That will show you he is serious or not.

I'm also going to disassemble one of my Japanese versions of this game and post the results of differences in the General Topic thread I made with VC differences, soon.

The promotion: Anyone who beats SMB1 on Side A nine times (8 times regular mode, one time Hard Mode) and beats SMB2J on Side B nine times (8 times regular quest, one time Worlds A-D) will get a very special, limited edition of this hack with Side A (SMB1) having these special graphics that I ripped straight from its source as well as two other features: The starman from SMB Special and the Microphones from All Night Nippon SMB. The final drawing for this content is due Jan. 05th, 2015. Anyone who beats the games as described must PM me with a picture of authenticity by this date at 12:00 AM EST. (I reserve the right to dismiss forged photos or shady items.)

You must out of your mind, the rules you got for that contest is too extreme.
Limit the amount of times a player has to beat it have them show proof on youtube.
Or they can use mediafire to mail you the video file and you review it personally.
Also wouldn't be hard for someone to save your screenshots and put them in yy-chr. :/

Hmm, well I guess it is a little tedious, though I could do it in two days. But I've been playing these games for over two decades, when they first came out.

The goal is for gamers to beat Hard Mode on SMB1 once and D-4 on SMB2J once (they must have 8 stars on the title screen to do that). They can choose to hack the 8 stars in. I'll allow videos as a primary. The video must at least contain 8-4 beaten on Hard Mode in SMB1 and D-4 beaten on SMB2J. So really, if they hack it in, that's only beating each game once in their intensity. Very fair.

So let's change the criteria to the above. This seems more reasonable. Alright; to give yourself 8 stars on each game, grab a hex editor and go to 0xCC3C for SMB1 and change the $00 to $08. For SMB2J, go to 0x1CC18 and change the $00 to $08. --ShaneM

I know it can beat smb1 on hard mode, when I have some free time on thanksgiving night I'll give it a run.
Keep the prize, although I love to do this on smas, smb2J always did kick me hard.

Good luck. Since I added SMB2J stuff to the SMB1, it will be tough.

Sweet work you gave me something new to screw around with when I head out the door for work,
I"ll report back any problems or issues, I will say this though there is a hack similiar to this.
"Download Legend of Zelda, The (USA) [Graphic Hack by CuteRomz v1.0] (~Cute Legend of Zelda) (Link's Awakening GFX
Read more at "Legend_of_Zelda,_The_(USA)_[Graphic_Hack_by_CuteRomz_v1.0]_(~Cute_Legend_of_Zelda)_(Link's_Awakening_GFX"

I found that right before infildelts zelda hack got into full swing, love the game because of update graphics.
