You ever thought about applying with Nintendo or some other game maker ?
To me it seems like you have enough proogramming knowledge to work or assist with any game maker.

https://nintendo.taleo.net/careersection/10000/jobsearch.ftl?lang=en

Just something for you to think about, not forcing you or anything like that.
Infidel, Dahk and possibly insectduel, would have enough skill and talent to wor for a game maker.
I llke to see one of you apply with a game maker and take your hacks you worked on for so long and see what happens. >

Yeah that's what's great about romhacks and flashcarts, returning to what you did and improving on it.

Heh well said drak, many times as I wanted to quit my main hack I am tinkering up right now.
I always manage to improve it someway, somehow till I accidently loose the file.

That's more or less what i aimed for with the modified emulator i used... though it just logs while you play. (Though I'm very thorough with doing most everything possible in the game). This didn't log everything, but it got probably 75-80% logged. A large part of what wasn't logged was probably unused (I saw a lot of graphics that were duplications, and not loaded)

Hmm why not opt into using this ?
[url]http://www.zophar.net/gb/no-gmb.html/url]
Visual boy 1.83 is very similiat to logging stuff like no$ can do.
@Drakon if your so gungho on someone making a emulator why don't you step up and do it ?
You have the skills, brains and talents to compile one over time. :|
Also the original author has not been seen for years to update his emulator,
For all we know the guy could have died or flatout forgot about the emulator.
If someone needs to crack his paid program just go ahead and do it already.
If out of the blue he appears in the near future..
Just man up and give him a donation if you cracked his program to use and update for todays current hacking communitys.

huh? I haven't cracked anything. Seriously what are you talking about?

Lets stop this conversation right now.
Why do you come over to this community with this abrupt and snarky attitude ?
I've been reading and watching what you do here lately I tried to hold my peace about you.
But your really starting to piss me off. :|
Chill out with this atttitude or pack up and go somewhere else for awhile.

I've been giving this a lot of thought while I was on hiatus...
These are suggestions that I doubt will be taken into consideration, it's like nobody got the balls to make changes to make this board a better place...

Don't count your ducks out too quickly yet.
I would be more than happy to change the board from a moderator perspective.
1. Two things are stopping that one in active moderator name kp9000 doesn't do anything.
2. Blackhole took away my mod powers, guess he thinks I am liable cause to him or the site ? o0

If I could, I would gladly super moderate the place, I don't ask for much or demand much of people.

Well, would you look at that, a nice cup of drama is like the best thing in the morning!

Jokes aside, this is the third time we have thread about asking what the users want from the board blackhole, I'm pretty sure the picture has been painted already what people here want, etc.

Also, this thread is already quite old so I don't see why people feel the need to keep bumping it. :V

If I were you I wouldleave well enough alone and let the community decide on what they want and need.

Drama you say, RIIGGHT Luna, drama it isn't, but welcome back.
Is this temporary visit before you go back out to jul for another year or permanent one ?

None the less thanks for caring.

Problems are finally fixed please view the vidoe or skip through the video to see how to fix your conversions.
NSF2midi had the same problem as well but anvil fixes them and more.

I'll look into this once my computer gets out of the shop. I've been wanting to make a few chiptunes for a while now and I hope this'll help.
Then again, maybe this won't...

In many ways it does, thats why I wanted to get the problem fixed.
Took me 3 years to figure out the problem and find a remedy for it.
Those that hack music for the nes or any game console this will be perfect.

I hope you and many other people will put it to good use.
I wanted to change image on spc2midi but visual basic 2010 screwed up the code rendering it unusable.
I may need to seek a programmer to tinker it a tad bit.

I'm a programmer, uh, in training. I have some experience with Visual Basic and C++ and I'm currently learning C#.
ADDON:The reason why I said "maybe not" was because I'm not sure if this program will work well with MP3s, M4As, or other standard music files. I have plenty of those.

What on earth are you talking about ? o0
I don't mean tweak it the way your thinking, it already does what I need it to do 90% of the time.
Open up spc2midi english, you see that image logo, I wanted to replace that.
I tried to do that and succeded but visual basic 2010 rendered useless upon saving.
I spoke to the guy who translated this tool from japanese to english.
Hes the only one who spoke to the original author of the program and had permission to translate it.
My only problem is I haven't been able to successfully locate him since december 2008.

If I could find him and ask him what version of visual basic would be able to work on it I could do it myself. :|

I appreciate your offer but I may seek out someone else on another forum for the task.

It's not very hard to get spcs and whatnot though.
Yeah, I might need help with that, unless SPCs are SNES-produced soundtracks.

Use ZSNES v1.51 or snes9x v1.52, with zsnes you need to know when a track is about to load up and play and dump it.
Zsnes dumps what is currently being played so be cautious of what your doing.
Use super jukebox to play spc and dump them to .wav.

Quite easy to turn a spc to mp3 full track or ringtone if you know what your doing.

I'm noticing a odd problem with quote tag and edit post feature.
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/board/thread.php?id=5263&page=44

You see how that page is stretching out due to multiple quotes ?
Could we get this adjusted a little bit for people on lower resolution screens ?

I messed around for a while with the document but I still can't comprehend it. The only thing I was able to do is speed up the music, slow it down, and glitch out the whole thing. It just doesn't add up with me

Why not ask infidelt to put the music in for you, if he agrees you hand him over 5-10 dollars through paypal when the service is done and verified ?

That would be cool but... I'm 14 and broke

Yeah it would be cool, make it happen, if infildelt agrees to help put the music inside your hack find a way to compensate him.

Goodluck eitherway.

You could do better than this.
The first screen quick mans stage I like how you designed it.
Copper and blue tile metal doesn't look right could you make the blue white tile palette a different color ?

The next screen, the wood palette is too bright, please it down a bit/

Alright, I've finally finished level4 and now its time for the demo.
Demo has first world edited, outside of world map since currently there is no way to edit what tiles are revealed after beating level(or by hitting switch).

Download: (Click to download)
Patch it into "Kirby's Adventure (U) (PRG 0).nes"

And again, comments, feedback, suggestions etc are welcome .

I'll patch it to a rom tonight and give it a go I'll host a video of it from my 3ds.

Looks good from the screens for now.

The project is going pretty well, thanks to kuja. But it's going to take a while... 32 screen long stages ftw. And only Magnet is 100% complete. T.T
Do you want a Play as Bass version of MMR?

Hell no sick of bass he's too over rated in the mega man games.

If you would stick roll in and possibly tango as her partner that be mighty fine.
Also I'd be would be interested in bug testing your hack everytime you come near way of completing a stage or 2.
