Posted by snarfblam Alright then, about the level data, I'm using visual boy advance and using the map viewer. While exploring part of sr388 I really can't get a good location of where the game is pulling the level data from. I'll sift through it next week and see if I might be able to pinpoint where the game is calling on the level data to load from. I tried nocashgameboy but the stupid thing refuses to load any rom. :/ Least the gb gui debugging is partly free. I may contact the guy and see if he has a new update and the pricing is right for purchasing. Otherwise I'll stick with visualboyadvance even though its dead. |

Posted by Raccoon Sam Yeah I heard about it and used i recently, it opens up basic tiles and lets you edit something in there. But its not fully featured, if the program was open source to the general public to improve I would be happy to assist in any kind of way. For now I'm gathering the location of all chr data within the rom itself. I mean its remarkable of whats in there if you really dig through it all. My shock is how nintendo manage to fit the metroid evolutions graphics inside a 256kb rom. 0_0 Anyway, if someone wants to see if that editor can be worked on and improved with permission I'm game to help out. |

Welcom back, bout your hacks, I never really interacted with you at all or barely seen any of your hacks.
But by looking around abit you have 2 options which might be helpfull. Contact iceman at smwcentral.net for this: http://magicstone.de/rhwiki/article/Super_Mario_Land_2 Also you may want to contact pete at jul.rustedlogic.net and see if he might have a copy of your hack or what not. If you want any old hack of yours you put on the net you may have to look through a lot of rom sites and see if someone may have hosted it up. Good luck on your searching. |

I know your curious about trying different brands of 2000/xp/vista/7 OS's.
But becarefull of what you download and make sure its something you need. As for the download, you might have a messed up download or the iso itself is damaged. Just by looking at the mashup itself, I highly advise you leave it alone and attempt something better like Linux. Given all that, I won't offer you any suggestions on what to use or download. If you mess up your computer by downloading random garbage, that will be on you or your parents to get you a new computer. Best of luck. |

Posted by Anandastoon Well I tried the hack, I'll say this its good but it gives me some mixed feelings. The title screen and music, loved the title screen, the music could give some little kids nightmares. Reminds me of maniac mansion from the nes but who am I to talk much. Playable wise, I see right away, you have been playing mm9 and mm10 abit. You implemented quite abit from it and some mm2/mm3 style type playing on certain levels. Excellent work on graphic design, the boss introduction is eh. :/ The music in this game, it feels like you're taking people on a national geographic tour. With that said for now, I have only yet to test it on my ds. If I'm busy while coming back tomorrow I'll record some footage. Nice hack, but like I said it gives off some weird feelings. My rating is a 8. |

I have more videos, but apparentlu my micro sd card keeps erasing crap. I'll re-update this thread soon, if you have a hack you're working on and would like it shown on my dslite or 3ds, please pm and I'll see about doing it. |

Posted by DahrkDaiz Dahrk, I tested your demo hack, this hack is breath taking. I've never seen so much work put into a hack besides infidelt and a few other oldbies here. I will make a one note though the level where you have the bombs coming out to blow up the floor. Make sure small mario doesnt catch one while falling down to the bottom of the screen. Sometimes he will get stuck inside a wall and can't move. Please for me, do something about the star man timer, 15 seconds of invincibility is not enough for me. I rather you just leave it at 30 seconds let it wear off also since you have it limited the music goes on forever. My rating is 9.0 its a very good hack I hope you feel motivated enough to finish it by late august. |

Find the midi online and edit the pitch yourself with a music editor such as sonar and report it again.

Here's a fun tip for you learn how to translate the text online.
Since this is in japanese, download a japanese language pack for windows. Next copy the japanese text and use google translate to find out what it means. The last part is up to you, go online and find the midi it will be on japanese site somewhere. It may take you awhile to find it and valid download link, once done begin working on the midi like I told you and report everything again. |

Posted by blackhole89 Heh, you notice that as well black, funny as I had discovered what you mentioned on my ds nesds 1.2b cart test ear;y last week. :| None the less I am still impressed with what dahrk has done, I understand why he was reluctant to bring out to the public in a short amount of time. About the shop items, try make some items abit more cheap. If you ever placed princess peach on the ds, visit toads shop to get a good idea for pricing normal items to specialty ones. |

Posted by Thanatos-Zero Forgive me for what I'm about to say here, but if you are acutally looking for the author of that hack. You may want to consider finding out his real name, since its been a long while its a very very low chance he'll have any files relating to it. If he may have passed it to someone to be secured you might be in luck. The choice is upto you if its worh contacting him, he may not even recognize you. :/ Start out with bing.com and use google advance search to look all over the globe for any information. If someone has it or hosted under semi different name you'll find it but it will take forever. Good luck if you pursue that searching. |

Posted by DarkBlade0551 Host your image using photobucket, imageshack or you're own wesbite. Copy the "full" image url: Example: Make sure your screenshot is visible on the web or else it won't work. |

Posted by DarkBlade0551 Thanks for telling me that. I never would have figured that out myself. Edit: My computer will not let me do anything on those websites no matter what I do. It just sends me back to the top of the site no matter what I do. If you want to see it I'm going to just upload videos to my channel on youtube if I can. Use zsnes or snes9x, take a screenshot in .png format. Find your screenshots and use http://www.photobucket.com/ Register for a free account and find your screenhot. Upload and save to your libary and choose copy image url. When you have the link use the image brackets I told you about and it should be visible "" |

Posted by NightKev Posted by Javier He meant if he installed a newer version of ie and uninstalled would it revert back to the old verion ? Most cases yes, not unless the os install disc came preinstalled with it, then yeah he can't remove it as windows relies on it for other system usage. Speaking of which, javier which windows os do you have and current sp so we all can get a clear idea what you have ? |
