Posted by Sagittaire Lets face bare bone facts here, the place isnt going to go under the rug anytime soon. If you take a look at the board and the people that are barely active to the ones that are, we do have times of a dry spell. Factor in job of any sorts, daily life, or any type of school of all ages, and game/hacking.... Yeah its going to be slow, if I had to make a correct assumption its mostly young teens/adults that use the site often. (15-25 ages) I come by every so often and will post, if its not necesary then I am eleswhere. Asking the current administration team to do anything for the board is like pulling teeth. Let em be and let them stay quite. |

Posted by ninjablooper Well, this is my last stop with microsoft as a consumer, its not the os being changed to a whole new creature if thats what they are aiming for. I'm just sick of having to come out pocket for a 139.00+ and up price tags for the os again. If I do anything with windows 8, it'll be to bring myself up to speed so that I may be able to trouble clients or train them on site if its needed. So I'll be scraping away on trial mode upon the official release. Ninja, I know how you feel about xp, I liked the os as much as you did and I didnt even want to upgrade, but ms said they were bringing xp to a close. The only thing I truly hate about 7 right now is, service pack they released for it, especially on the x64 platform, causes more technical mishap than is currently there. Oh well.. |

Posted by NARFNra I like your screenshots so far man, if you have ever played metal storm for the nes or blaster master, your shadowman stages and coloring resemble it just a little bit. If you get a stable demo working, throw it my way and I'll give it a run through. |

Posted by NARFNra Ha, I guess being a old school gamer does have it perks at times. Good luck with your project though, and let us know when its nearing completion. If you do top mans stage later, try to do it in mmx3 neon tigers design. Doesn't have to be special, but something that says it came from jungle somewhere. |

Posted by Venithien Use the uploader, use winrar or winzip for windows/linux and make sure to add on a readme file so we'll know whats been modified or not. http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader |

Posted by ibz10g Hmm, its very slim chance, but I'll look around a few places on the net and see if someone may have it archived. |

Posted by KP9000 Easy there "Recon9000", we know blackhole isn't very active on here and cannot do much, but give the man some sort of credit would ya ? Last time I spoke with him, he was busy with his college work and preparing to do some other things. I'll shoot him a message later, and see if we "could" invest into a better hosting site for the place. I think most of us know kafuka exist so there is no need to cry over spilled milk. That and you have a administrator position over there to keep things steady @Luna, could you speak to one of the other lead staff and have them fully archive the site to their hdd, just in case this site goes down for more than 2 or 3 days ? It would help and we might need to move on without black if the right people decide to start off new. |

1.You are right on some degress I have not been in your conversations with him. +1
2. How should I put this, even though black isnt here mostly, if he knows the site has gone down and is aware of it, he'll try to float it back up 3.Maybe, like I said, if someone else on staff has access to the server settings and make apprioriate actions without him, it will be done and he'll be contacted of any actions. 4,Next question please!! 5.I like you, like I said to you in the other threads, I have some degree of respect for you. Just let things stay the way they are for now, kafuka will get recognized soon, just handle your stuff there and we'll make sure this old battle ship doesn't sink in the midnight hour storm. |

Posted by Insectduel So its your forum that has seen more spam bot activity ? Very odd, and I was probably thinking right, the current acmlm based boards I have seen in july uptil this point I have seen more than 4 bots lately which is not a good sign. |

I tested your recent patch, graphic wise, its alright for now.
Palettes throughout the game work on them more. Music I'm sure you whats wrong, but between transitioning screens and taking out certain enemies, it will speed up or stutter. When you release your next ips patch assign me and a few others to work with you closely. |

I downloaded this when I got home yesterday, did a good job with this.
That game feels like it was based from that old fashion 1970's-1980's Mario Brother game. I see why japanese people like the game, its annoying but it atleast it'll keep you guessing even if you make it pass level 5. #_# |

If your good with paletting editing and game gfx modding which is pretty obvious I would try to aim at super mario bros 2 and 3.
Why smb2 doesn't get enough attention for hacking I dont know, but it has alot of potential to expand. If there was level editor for smb2 I would try to attempt that as my first NES hack. You remind me of ghettoyouth in many ways, yor work sort of remsembles what he used to do back in 2005-2007. |

Posted by josete2k If your main language is spanish, by default you may want to change your language pack on your os so it will be easier for you to work with english based hacking utilities. |

Posted by Googie That icegoom is one heck of a guy, its too bad he just up and disappeared in 08. I never knew how many people he was in contact with all over the place. Pm later on about smb2 hacking and what you have learneed from it, even though luna has worn me about smb2, I still feel like the original needed some action for a change after 25 years. |

Posted by _Ombra_ Forgive me if I am really wrong here, but whenever I work with graphics or tile letters. With whatever program you may use weather it be ms paint, paint shop pro or gimp, I normally save snes 4bpp as 16 bit color. If that program may have an option to export at bmp, it maybe much easier to do it that way. Even if your coloring maybe a little off it cause some size byte issues in the average snes rom until you fix it properly. @Giang: does lazy shell have the option of exporting allgfx like lunar magic and mostly hyrule does ? It be simpler to them just to edit the gfx right in yychr or other tile utility program. |
