It has been awhile since I actually updated the download but it should be updated in a week or so.

A Kingrayon's Tale is a short story off of my main big trilogy called Dimension Project. Kingrayons are the focus of the story. Sara is one of the main characters who used to have a normal life in 2077 until disaster came and took her literally to another world. And she has been changed forever - literally as a Kingrayon. A humanoid experiment that combines several DNA of random creatures into one creature of extreme power. Through the use of Powernite, they have the ability to manipulate matter and dimensions. Giving them the power to shape shift into different creatures.

I'll edit this thread with more details. Should you be interested in a futuristic science fiction that is well worth a good read, click here and enjoy!
Here is the original thread over at SMWC. Much more detailed.

I also have another story which is the main book but that's even older and I want to update it again before releasing any download for it. Unless you want to request it then you can PM me here. Enjoy!

So far I like your writing of this, my only critique is this.
Try not to stay to focused on the main character so much, and start to take the story in a different path with other playing roles.

Your writing seems that of R.L stine books a little which is a good way to start off from.

Mystery first, next the drama, followed up by a lie is which is what I am sensing out of this.

The new Title Screen
I've decided to create a new title screen. Here he is next to the old one to compare the two title screens. Write me you feedback which of both title screens you prefer.

Greetings Spane

I prefer this one mostly, if your hack is going for the dark age feeling in zelda 3..
I recommend you make that zelda font semitone navy blue with grey edges around the graphics.
Make the backgrounds shade abit more better and you have yourself a winner.

About this topic. I have dolphin and I need to know the same thing, NB. So if someone knows let the both of us know rather than just him alone.

I really can't live with lag.
Okay, look, it doesn't work like that. You should make your own thread, and tell us exactly what hardware you currently have. If we don't know, we can't tell you what's compatible or whether you need to buy anything else. We would also need to know how much you can spend. You can't just ask "hey what's a good X?" and expect a magical answer.

Yami, if you want help with your computer make a thread in the hardware/software forum.
If I see it I will help you, but be warned, not enough info on your system and price range requirements and lack of communication, means no help for you.

Got it ?

I feel like time is just going by too quickly and I am not getting much done at all. I would love to get some more writing done but I got stuck on this one part so I moved to a different book while I figure a way past my block but now I just seem to be in this weird trance. Like where you just sit there and wonder what to do for awhile and then you realize a lot of time passed while doing nothing.

I don't know if this may help, but why not go out for the day and get your head cleared ?
Just do somethings to keep your feet moving and just interact with people and see things that may give you some ideas.
I know how you feel about writers block, my mother is a literature teacher so I know what she has done for the past 20+ years aint easy.
When I do any kind of technical work computer or not, there is something that may stop me and I need time to look at it, get some ideas, think outside of the box and find a way of fixing differently.

Okay long story, but I can get all the information I need now. I'm just curious though what specs should my card have if I'm doing modern gaming?

Hmm, if you have a phenom ii x2 555 thats a good starter for gaming.
If you have a pci-e slot, any recent ati or nvidia one will do.
Find a card and look at the spec requirements, if its asking for more power than you currently have I recommend you upgrade soon.

A phenom ii x4 955, 965 will do you good, atleast your machine will have breathing for a game a and a few open apps and documents.

Can I ask what you do besides gaming with your machine ?
I'm just trying to get a glimpse of what you do and I could suggest somethings for you to look at.

Honestly all I use my PC for anymore other than gaming is to check forums and sometimes watch a Youtube video.

Hmm, you sound like you just keep it simple then.

Your cpu does well with electricity voltage so your bill electric bill shouldnt be much of a problem to you, I recommed, you clock it up to 3.4ghz.
Sad thing about your cpu it will not unlock to a triple or quadcore.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030

Also these 2 items should be enough for normal games, mmo that needs a quadcore I recommend you stay away from it.

I think it's great how we're all different religions, but we never cared about it enough to ask until now. If only all religions could get along as well as we are in this topic. Religion is a tricky topic to discussing due to there being little evidence so I'm glad to see this is remaining civil.

Hmm, that won't happen ninja, if people who are different religions have different views about christians, christ or the bible itself people will always be at arms with each other until they can find someone with a voice of reasoning for all people.

Yes, I am christian you got problem with that folks ?
One thing I don't bring up on chat forums or barely irc is religion.
However if the people who are curious or want to piggy back off what they know and where they come from religion I'll talk to you on certain terms.

Anything else I care not to talk to people about it for many personal reasons.

Well that much is good to hear.

I guess the last part of my fear is likelihood of a cease and desist letter. I don't want to die the same death as Chrono Trigger Resurrection. (Though I would be terribly surprised if my project gained anywhere near the attention that that one did.)

, let me say it differently, if nintendo/sega etc sees your hack rom and its not making any profit, they won't attempt to contact you about it.
If your hack is drawing away attention from their recent release of a game, they will contact you and such said site and have it shut down.

They will give you a few small warnings before they attempt legal actions against you.

Anything in ips format and not causing a problem for the game makers they don't care much about it.

Now anyworks that you edit, modifie or recreate, you still have to always give credit back to the original game maker.
Lets face facts here, your not the one who design the characters or games that your hacking, so pretty much you have no say so on whats yours legally.

If the game maker were to give us the go ahead and let us dismantle the game legally without worry, that would be a good year for all.

I have spoken with nintendo about this off and on, pretty they are concerned about the loss of profits and even good hacks by people to earn them a good buck to be sold to millions of people.

Sorry, I said all that, but its pretty much complicated for right now.

That's a lie, please don't give legal advice if you don't know what you're talking about. ._.

Anything you yourself make (unless you lose the rights to it) you own. What this means is that if you do level a level design only hack for say SMW, you own that level design. This is why distribution in patch form is popular, since you're only handing out what you yourself made.

No one else could go about and try and sell this design that you made, regardless of the need for the rest of the game code. To put it plainly, a hack (in ROM format) is not owned by neither part, but rather, both. Therefore, neither would be able to profit on it unless a deal is made among both (or more) parts. Of course, it's even more complicated then what I said, but this is not what this thread is for.

Prove that to me this week, call nintendo themselves and ask them about it.
I'll say it for the final time, you touch the game "super metroid" you rework everything in it including the coding and its still not yours legally which is your hack.

You were not the original copy-right author or producer for that game, so you have no right to speak about it, ever!

I think 4 major game makers and more would say a whole lot differently with a legal team against you behind closed doors.

Please look at my post again and noticed how I said ips patches are safe for now.

I have already looked at what nintendo has to say about roms, hackings and everything related to it.
I am going by what they say, I wont argue with you or cryshi about it on the matter.
If I am wrong so be it and I'll accept it, if it proves to be different by a valid source then that proves to you and anyone else I am not lying.

"Douchebag" ? KP900, you don't even know me that well enough or care enough to even at chat with me about anything.

Now I could get quite ugly with you upfront and personal but I have nothing against you and I respect you to a certain point.
So don't push me too far yet, unless I did something to you personally.

Cryshi, said drop it on the subject so I respect her wishes.

I have a friend who is also Agnostic. We talked about the Bible once, but the only thing he didn't understand really was Noah's Ark. Like he understood the story, but he asks a lot of the same questions others ask, "How could all those animals fit onto that ark?" It was an interesting conversation though.
Did you tell him they didn't?
Because any other answer is wrong.

Next time you speak to your friend show him this he'll get a laugh out of it if he reads through it but it will help make more sense to him about the god/bible.

Matthew 14:13

One thing you can't force people to do is always force god or the bible down their throats.
You can show them an example or let them see where your religion comes from and let them make up their own mind.

I know quite a number of people who don't believe in god, but it doesn't drive me away from them.

Being a christian or whatever similiar to it is not easy.
Heck even christians make mistakes or bad choices over their life time and still have a rough life.

What Haz stated is mostly fact and not opinions. Most of the material which makes up the Old Testament literally interpreted by many evangelicals was originally treated by most jews as metaphorical stories to teach lessons or provide hope.

Despite that most evangelical versions of the Bible will try to tell you that Malachi through Matthew = the silent years, it is likely that many of the books which are ordered before Malachi (ex. Esther, Daniel) were actually afterwards and intended as allegorical tales to inspire jewish revolutionaries :-(

This would explain the numerous conflicts between our known historical record of the persian and babylonian empires versus their description in Daniel.

"Being a christian or whatever similiar to it is not easy. "

It's so hard that 78% of all Americans identify themselves as members of the Christian faith.

Question. whats your opinion on the king james bible itself ?
Everytime I look through it, it feels much more mature and strict.
makes me want to not reference from it not unless the situation I am in calls for it at certain times.

Your average bible with straight facts relatiing to old and new testament without issue or force is something I can relate to and feel what the bible is saying.

About 78% of christian american people, if you have not given your life "back" to jesus and gotten bapitized in the water like chrst, you aren't officially a christian.
Any church will tell you that right away when looking at your religious life.

I don't see the point of your question regarding the KJV and how it relates to what I brought up. I believe this is tangential and am therefore ignoring it.

Would this mean that if for some reason people were born in a place where a water baptism is not possible that they could never be Christians?

http://www.gotquestions.org/baptism-Mark-16-16.html

What would happen to those people?

Really I cannot answer for them or you so its not my call to answer you, but I don't think god will let you into heaven when you die and meet him.
Have a close look at mark and be the judge yourself.

Sorry nick, but I refuse to answer you, I don't know what kind of answer you want out of me, but I cannot answer you on the matter.

I don't speak for everyone on religion, if I did it would be pretty chaotic just like with anyone else speaking on religion topics.

Thats why I said in this topic I don't care much to talk about it, and in the end, stuff always turns ugly in the end.

If you want a real answer, seek it from a very good credible church or someone you trust who can make sense of the bible facts to you.

He doesn't want you to speak for everyone, he just wants your own personal opinion on the matter.
Once again: he does not want to turn to a church, a pastor, a nun, a rabbi, an imam, or any random person on the street; he is simply asking your own view on the matter.

Yes nick, let how jesus does it when he was baptised:

What is baptism? Baptism is the washing with water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. It signifies and seals our ingrafting into Christ and partaking of the benefits of the covenant of Grace and our engagement to be His.

Quite simply, Jesus was baptized so he could enter into the Melchizedek priesthood so He could be the High Priest and offer Himself as a sacrifice for our sins.

In Matthew 3:13-15 it says, "Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, iI need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?' Jesus replied, 'Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.'" Jesus got baptized to fulfill all righteousness.

Exodus 29:1-7, "This is what you are to do to consecrate them, so they may serve me as priests: Take a young bull and two rams without defect. And from fine wheat flour, without yeast, make bread, and cakes mixed with oil, and wafers spread with oil. Put them in a basket and present them in it -- along with the bull and the two rams. Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water. Take the garments and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself and the breast piece. Fasten the ephod on him by its skillfully woven waistband. Put the turban on his head and attach the sacred diadem to the turban. Take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head."

Oil is a type of the Holy Spirit: "But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth...As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit -- just as it has taught you, remain in him," (1 John 2:20,27).

The Holy Spirit descended from heaven as a dove and rested upon Jesus (Matt. 3:16).

Jesus was baptized because He had to fulfill the legal requirements for entering into the priesthood. He was priest after the order of Melchizedek (Psalm 110:4; Heb. 5:8-10; 6:20). Priests offered sacrifice to God on behalf of the people. Jesus became a sacrifice for our sin (1 Pet. 2:24; 2 Cor. 5:21) in His role as priest.

If anyone calls themselves a christian and does not get baptised...
You can't get into heaven without it, if god asks for it and he sent his son jesus to do it, what makes us think we are exempt from it ?

Sorry nick, but I refuse to answer you, I don't know what kind of answer you want out of me, but I cannot answer you on the matter.

So your feeling is that anyone who is not baptized, even if they profess to be a christian and follow all of your rules in accordance and believe in jesus as their savior but do not complete this one ritual, god will send them to hell?

I guess I have to go back to also my previous question(s):
Would this mean that if for some reason people were born in a place where a water baptism is not possible that they could never be Christians?

What would happen to those people?

A water baptism, I know exactly what your talking with this.
Nick, lets turn this around why do you think I would know what your asking ?
Do you somehow I think I have authority on what people should do or not ?
Also whats your religion nick and what do you believe on the matter ?

I tried to give you a answer, I tried to show you some real facts right from a bible.
Pretty much from this point, I want no part of this conversation with you again.

"simply put I don't hold the answers that your seeking"
Thats as honest as I can get with you on this thread, but you don't seem to be getting that.
