Which tempo speed does FamiTracker work best on ?
For the life of me, the playback in the editor and output is too slow.
Usually when I make music I set the tempo between 44-58, that is usually average for a normal midi.

The current version of fami-tracker has it as 161. but when tinkered it will stay below 31 on speed ?

Uhm what? There's no "best" tempo, simply leave tempo on 150 and only change the speed value otherwise notes might sound shorter or longer than they should, due to the nes being in sync with tv frames (NTSC = 60 frames per second) and if you want something like 140 BPM withouth that then you need to change the speed every row with the Fxy command, F06 (150 BPM) - F07 (128 BPM)

I have already tried that during the past 2 weeks something isn't right with that new version as that speed is too unbalanced.
You can check out for yourself later, thanks for the response.

Super Mario Odyssey is a compilation of eight SMB1 hacks revived from the former Reign of the Koopa project. Only the first hack of the eight-hack Reign of the Koopa project was completed and released. Despite the good reviews, I discontinued work on the project for personal reasons. I restarted the project last month and renamed it Super Mario Odyssey to make the title sound more meaningful. I recycled the graphics from the Reign of the Koopa hack and refined them with a more professional artistic touch, as you will see in the screenshots below. I took a fresh SMB1 ROM and copied the graphics and necessary external patches onto the ROM and than started making brand new levels.

Heh, I'm sure BMF and his original design crew from jul.rustedlogic.net would be thrilled to see their hack go NES style.

Nice work man, if you release a beta of it I'll give it a spin.

Have a look at this scrydan, if your that old from way back in ancient times, what did you do in your yester-century life time ?

If you think about it, it wasn't a good time to be in when you really bad wars going on with other nations.

That was so long ago, I can't quite remember. There's been too many darned wars! I do remember asking George Washington if he would consider a clause that would prevent this prophecy about some corporation taking over the world. Sadly he didn't believe in the Internet and thought it would only be a fad.

I did talk to some other people about the prophecy. I may have to do some remembering. I think I had milk and cookies from 300 years ago and those cookies aren't nearly as good as nowadays for some odd reason.

LOL before I continue to laugh while doing my job, you need to consider getting yourself a degree in language arts and history.

With todays numbskulls in school, kids and teens would listen to that while having a semi strict atmosphere in the class to keep under control.

Here you go, you might want to give him a look and see if you might want to subscribe.
Be talking with you later on tonight.

If anyone actually starts using this topic I'll sticky it again.

I may take you up on that offer, soon as finish debugging 2 worlds I'll limit it and release a mini version of my lost hack as I was suppose to do in 2009.

Thanks Luna.

Honestly, it does not matter when I get such assignment, I always end up doing it last minute. In fact, most people do.

If I get in "university" (Comparable, but not quite the same) this fall I'm hoping I won't have too many write ups, I suck at write ups. :I

You will get writing assignments during your college days and years.
You'll get use to it eventually and your literature writing skills will be better for you down the road.

This is where I may need you and Dr. Floppy. I need some programming tweaks.

Did a real good job on it man, my only complaint is the smb original physics movement.

Its not your fault at all, but thats probably why I avoid the original smb1 for 20+ years now.
Yet your hack feels like mash up of smb3 meets sml2.
My only request of you if you feel like it, give that old music engine some tweaking mainly the OW theme.

Excellent job my good man.

So by Power Supply Unit what exactly do you mean? As in where I'm getting my energy from or my fan's power or what? Sorry, I'm not exactly very well informed of hardware.

Excuse kevin while he gets his answer right.
Download HW monitor
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
Also open up your case from the right side and see what motherboard model you got.
You don't want to get any type of GPU that nay bottle neck your cpu.

Minimum wattage for normal pci-e 2.0 gpus is 350wattage with limited system hardware setup.
Recommended for most video cards would be 425-600 watts, not unless you plan on going for a GTX series or ATI HD higher up 5000-6000 series.
