So, I haven't been looking at acmlm.org too much, so I never realized everyone left!

Oh well; time to post once and disappear into lurker status.

ED: Damn; almost forgot to add into the "welcome back" crowd. Hey.

So, if someone managed to get a Wii for (including tax) 274.63, exactly how much profit should one make by selling it to a friend that's been looking for one since the release date?

(the wii's unopened, BTW; hasn't been touched.)

Also, here's the key as a tile on a Game Boy:

I should try to work that into a game somehow. With some palette trickery it might make a decent grass tile or something.

Find where Pokemon Blue store the image for Missingno. and stick it there.

kinda old thread, but I figure it applies:

Tennis elbow for the Wii.

And I play the baseball, not the tennis anyway.

Obviously this isn't my hack.
It is, ironically, called "Super Mario Forever". Funny that one of the hardest Mario hacks on YouTube would share a name with one of the hardest standalone Mario fangames.

OHHHHHH GOD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

sorry. God, I hated Mario Forever!

Well I'm currently on 1-4, yes it DOES continue, some levels are absolute gibberish though, 1-3 for example is actually EASY.

Ends after 1-4, though.

I agree. Most wireless things can be unreliable. I´ve had my experience with wireless stuff.

Except the Wavebird. That sumbitch rocks.

So, I've got a final on Tuesday in Psychology.

So far, out of five classes this semester, I've taken four, got the grades (and thus, final class grade) on one, and have to take one more final.

So, how y'all doing in school?

I downloaded the program needed to patch the patch file and the rom expander, but when I try to expand it, it says I need "us version 1.0 with ABCD byte ordering".

How to I change the ROM file to, uh, that?

Not sure. I had the same problem, so I just found a different ROM.

It had the extension .z64 if that makes any difference.

That explains it; mine's .N64.

Ah, forget it.

So, the computer's been acting all wonky lately, grinding louder than usual and shutting off randomly. I notice the computer's a little warm, so I d/l a program to check the PC temperature.

It's 159 degrees Fahrenheit.

So, I go in with my minivac to clean out the computer.

I open it up and HOLY SHIT THE DUST IS CAKED ON! Gee, I wonder *why* it was running like shit. Could it possibly have _anything_ to do with the fact that there's a thick dust bunny the size of my HAND on the motherboard?

(honest to god, I was COUGHING when I first started cleaning it out and there's still a layer of dust on the computer desk.)

(Now, the PC temp's back down to 103, and shockingly, working better.)

...That's around the area of common sense.

I will say that you fail if you actually used a vacuum cleaner to do the job. Ever heard of electricity? Static electricity? You think that does well against such machinery as a computer and a hard drive? It does not.

I´m a bit shivery with my hands so I ask my brother to clean my computer when it´s needed unless I want to bump something important in there. And he use the vacuum cleaner so I get nervous as fuck every time he´s about to clean it.

I need to find and buy one of those minivacs. Assuming it´s one of these.

Yeah, the one I used was an Oreck Canister Vac.

Not powerful enough to screw up anything, and it's working fine now.

So, in total, my family's feeding 6 cats, 4 dogs, 5 guinea pigs, and a raccoon.

Wow.

I have two dogs, a snake, and occasionally rats

Raccoons are cool. You can actually train them to do stuff if you can domesticate them enough...

I've noticed.

This one comes out in broad daylight if he hears food.

Where can I get one of those in sweden? And the site says that I´ve to buy something else to get it.

It looks like it's US-only; I assume just about any small canister vacuum would work just as well, as long as it has both a vacuum and a blower.

Is Canister the bloody model of it?

And the problem would be to find small one of those cleaners.

No, it's an Oreck vac.

site here.

And it's not exactly "small"; it's about a foot long by a half-foot wide and tall.
