I personally think the grapple will will either:

a) shatter when it hits the block
b) pull the block down

lol NSMB used the SMW ghost house theme for it's ghost houses, and the classic underground for caves...

I think using the above ground level or one of the vs songs from NSMB would be good

another cheat would be cool to replace mario with something

anyways, these are looking awesome!, I can't wait until this is done, SM64 and SMB3 were some of my favorite games!

Maybe all the ideas we said will happen..

the grapple will miss, hit the ground, whip up, pull someone up, shatter the grapple (and damage said person), and then the block will fall down, and shatter, and chunks will fly everywhere, and stab people...

that would be awesome...

and I need to learn how to use fireworks...

Underrated
Sa2 GCN version(AKA Sa2B)- alright, I'll say it, pretty much all the 3d sonic games have been crap, except the adventure ones, they were PLATFORMERS, not puzzles, or shooters, but actual FREAKING PLATFORMERS, plus the voice acting ISN'T 4kids voice actors (WOOHOOO!)

Yoshis's story N64- I hate it when people compare this to yoshi's island. They aren't the same game, get used to it. This one was good, but short and easy, still, it's underrated... we need a level editor, that might perk things up! =P

Hey You Pikachu! N64- Most people don't talk about this game, but it was genuinely fun, you got to yell at pikachu, and once you unlock the third mode, it really picks up from there.

Sonic 2 Genesis- Best sonic game EVER, but still, it's overrated. I mean so much was added and the music was awesome, but still, sonic 3 doesn't get any attention because it's the middle child of the genesis (sonic 1 already left home and moved)

Pokemon Pearl & Diamond DS- It's new, It' looks good, so what? the best to me are still the GBC ones! I'm a little biased because I don't have Diamond or pearl, but thats all everyone talks about!! whenever I play gold, someone sees, and they start ranting about the new games! Plus I have more pet peeves about this game!
1. People new to the franchise think that STAB was just added, uhh... NO! it just was never talked about
2. Toning down of The first 6 starters, the Kanto and Johto starters have been toned down, the most was Typhlosion, making thunder punch into a normal attack really took a blow on his strength against water types, now I'd have to do special EV training to use him around water types.
and number 3! The amount of legendaries they added is just too over the top in this game, plus you still have the 20 others to get into there, thats too many!

lol, I've been pokerus'ed twice in gold myself, both pretty much at random from wild pokemon, once it happened to a level 100 though (NOOOO!)

I have no shinies in gold, or emerald though

I think all of the ideas here combined!, but in a weird way..

They solve the case about poor Mr.Jenkins, then they cross the border with illegal immigrants made of drugs, and sell them to children.

Or they have a magical pot of gold we never heard of

Meh, I don't go there, so I wouldn't know about that. I usually go to smaller sites where people aren't drugged by the fact that sega hasn't released a remake of sonic 2 for the PC yet. Hell sonic 3 wouldn't exist if it weren't for 2. (neither would really cool oldschool super sonic)....

I just realised everyones making me contradict my post about it being overrated...
