While I understand some of the words (it's using that horrible SMS-style Latin representation of Cyrillic in an odd modified form (wtf is meant by the q and 6?)) with my Russian, it's obviously heavily slang-laden and, as a whole, doesn't make enough of a sense to me to provide a proper translation.

I might know a Bulgarian person though... is this of sufficient importance for me to attempt contacting him?

No, you are getting that wrong.
First off, Bulgarian uses the Arabian numerals just like English does, so the bulgarian equivalent of 6 still is 6. Secondly, it's commonplace in Cyrillic-alphabet countries to substitute Cyrillic symbols with similar-looking Latin ones when Cyrillic encoding is not available, e.g. 4=Ч (roughly like the ch in 'china'). "ina4e", for instance, perfectly maps to the Russian (and most likely also Bulgarian, the language is similar enough) "иначе", "otherwise" (pronounced like ee-na-che).

Attention Sonicandtails,

this thread looks like pointless ego stroking to me. At the very least, posting it is not any more mature than the actions you are referring to.

Trashed.

I don't usually. There just was no other kind left in stock ;(

Then, it's interesting to draw a connection between the two issues addressed so far...

"Pfand"... Is that a cup?

No, I think "Pfand" is German for "deposit".

EDIT: And I think Bio Pizza sounds weird. I wouldn't want to eat it. :/

Pretty much, it's an additional sum you pay each time you buy anything bottled and get back when bringing back the empty bottles... (that's what's denoted by "Leergut", literally "empty goods")

"bio <stuff>", here, just means it is made from supposedly produced in "green"/"environment-friendly"/whatever facilities resources.

VAT (MwSt, "Mehrwertsteuer") exists here, but it's included in the prices. The "NETTO-UMSATZ" marks how much it would cost without it.

What exactly was that "hacking" looking like anyway? Did he log to them, change profile settings, or...?

I'm sorry

私は、日本から来ました。
日本のスプライトが公開されてるらしいです。

It is the above.

Excuse me good-bye

Let me give it a shot...

I am from Japan.

It would appear that Japanese sprites were released to the public.
It looks like somebody sent Japanese sprites by mail.

We don't want anyone to know about Japanese sprites.

If somebody sends such a mail again, please disregard it.

Since there are some negative feeling going around about the Japanese sprites, I have decided to take them out of the release for now.

Looks like my decision to download the package this morning at school regardless of the low speed stemming from tunneling through two proxies and coming a bit late to physics class in expectation of this was a wise one... other than that, this is fairly impressive. Reminds me of how much I am out of the loop on SMW hacking

2ch: May I, out of curiosity, ask for the URL of that forum? It seems like you have some interesting development going on there...

And I don't know how complete The Kin's Archive is, as it's not online anymore, I uploaded my collected DJBouche SPCs

Your archive has over twice as many SPCs as The Trasher's did. SMRPG and Yoshi's Island SPCs! I noticed the YI SPCs were in a folder named 'kafuka.' Were those intended for Emuz's hack?

Yes, he had Bouche collaborate on it for a while.
I am actually surprised there are still people around who remember Kafuka. Were you around back in the days Emuz still was active? (I don't remember seeing you, but I didn't take notice of many things back then)

KawaiiImoto-e: I talk to both Emuz and DJBouche almost every day lately, so if it's about contacting either, I could as well arrange them getting in touch with those interested...

Oh, hello.

I don't think we ever met (I joined around the last quarter of 2003, which makes me something like a semi-oldbie, shortly before incarnation1 exploded), but, yeah, your post counts are legendary. Welcome back, I suppose.

Regarding the whole oldbie thing, I have been trying to persuade Emuz into coming back, but he's insistent about liking his nerves in one piece...

Let me set something straight... nobody is getting paid for doing what we are doing here, or to write an editor for the game you like. Things like these are getting done in people's free time, and can't be expected to be done anywhen except the usual "when they are done". Not contributing to SM64 hacking yourself, you are not in a position whatsoever to demand people work on it faster.

Besides, this thread is pointless for reasons my predecessor repliers already explained well enough.

Closed.

Yeah, my guess would have been the "power"-力 as well...
Also, you can't exactly say Japanese and Chinese have "a lot of similarities", since, as languages, they could hardly be more different from each other. Japanese vocabulary just is 60% Chinese loanwords... (It would be naive to assume French loanwords make English similar to French, wouldn't it? )

Also, what's that thing supposed to be, a Kappa? (I've seen depictions of those quite similar to what you made)
