I'd say Kironide is more along the lines of Lawful Good, or Lawful Neutral. Have you heard him ranting about that Death Note thing on IRC?

Okay, good for you.

This thread is pointless and I shall now dispose of it.

Nah, that definitely makes him Lawful Evil, unless you actually consider extreme fascism and mass-murder to be anything other than evil.

I'd say mass murder of evildoers is well in line with Lawful Good. Depends, of course, on your general stance on death penalty, so your mileage may vary.

I don't think that "kill everyone who has ever committed a crime and everyone who I find to be lazy" has been considered legit for a few thousand years.

In my eyes, DnD's "Lawful Good", more than anything else, evokes the image of a paladin roaming the lands to defend the righteous and slay the faithless and evildoers...

Do not post hack releases with no screenshots and no explanation what's going on. I give you half an hour to remedy that.

Also, do something about your English. Your IP says you are from the USA; you should be able to do better than that.

edit: Also, do not post ROM links. Read the FAQ before posting.

Nice work! This has changed quite a bit since I last tried out the editor (which was, granted, really long ago...)

It would appear like blank cornerpieces of objects that have them (e.g. the bush at the start of 1-1 Area 1) aren't being blanked (i.e. set to blank tiles) by the renderer correctly (thus appearing as ground tiles). Could you fix that?

Central European Time, with DST on at the moment., i.e. GMT+1+1.

That's the server's timezone, at least.

The tileset in the second-to-last screenshot is rather bad. The texture is monotonous and it seems to be somewhat hard on the eyes to recognize the boundary of the ground.

Also, I think the pyramids in the overworld would look better if you removed the black borders at the bottom.

I remember you. It's quite surprising to see someone from that long ago returning. Welcome back!

All the more surprising that you are restarting a hack from that long ago; I found my efforts from that time to be mostly hopelessly outdated and/or too messy to try salvaging. Do you have any screenshots to offer of yours.

As for the blocktool, there is a Japanese inserter named blocktool lite (or blite, not sure which of the two is completely canonical) which should be on SMW Central's tools page; there also is a similar utility for sprites now if you are interested.

I think it would be helpful if you could provide a reference to that EB Expand tool. Few people here hack Earthbound, and quick googling didn't reveal much of use other than another person asking for it on the starmen.net forums and getting a nonsequitur answer.

- Fixes and changes on all types and equipment.
- Balance tuning, addition of some new equipment.
- Wide Bullet (large-spread bullet something like a scatter shot?)
- Vulcan (High fire rate, low range)
- Multiblaster (Simultaneous fire from several blasters)
- Charge Blaster PT (equivalent to the previous Charge Blaster)
- Charge Blaster QT (charging faster, not developing into the explosion type (I take it the original Charge Blaster starts causing explosions after leveling up past a certain point, which this one doesn't.))

It's as active as people contributing levels are. I just wish somebody actually would post a level instead of everyone just talking about making one.

Me and Sukasa currently are working on a couple of fairly neat assembly appliances. More on that when there is eyecandy material available for display.

We owned a phonograph back in Russia, but didn't bring it along. I don't think I ever even saw one in Germany anywhere apart from museums, but I sure would love to have one if I ever find that I need to sink some money. Devices like that have a certain charm that is absent to modern high-end high fidelity audio hardware.

When you sip tea while listening to classical music, do remember to put on a top hat and monocle and assume an over-the-top British accent to complete the image.
