It's been a while indeed. Hi.

Although I'm really not sure until when you've been around, you might still recognize Stark (Alastor the Stylish, Kyouji Craw being the oldest nick I can recall), Ailure, knuck; if I'm not mistaken, optomon has been there for ages too.

And yeah, you can't find ||board because it's gone. Also, the more canonical address for this one is acmlm.kafuka.org.

Otherwise, welcome back and enjoy your stay.

That's a really nice wallpaper, Black.

This is mine.

Is that what gave rise to your question on IRC a while back?

To make Mario overlap parts of the layer, use physical tiles that have "priority 1 for objects on tile" checked in the places you want Mario to overlap all layers.

Here is a video showing the hack in progress (from the start of a new game).

This is some very neat progress you are showing there (am I the only one thinking of 4chanesque childhood rape when seeing spaghetti western language in what once was a kids' game?). However, how does all of this integrate with the Bowser's Castle intro?

Also, I think the green "poison" clouds are a bit over the top/annoying at times.

SHINY WEB 2.0 MAGIC
Yes.

Is it sharing the same database as board2?
Yes, but has a second one of its own.

Will there be advertisements?
TBA. (As in, not yet determined)

Will any ordinary users be able to moderate the hacks?
Rating, comments.

Will the theme be shared between the board and the front page?
Yes.

Will we be able to comment on the news?
TBA. Personally, I think that it might be better to leave open the option to create board threads corresponding to news items and link them from said news item once a thread was created.

Will we be able to contribute to the front page (themes, code, idk) in any way?
Yes, but in what ways is neither open for disclosure nor completely determined yet.

One of these days, I'll write to a renowned university about our ability to reheat old shit and have them hand out honarary archaeology PhDs to the whole staff.

That will be one epic keikaku doori moment.

It's interesting to see a larger hack of a 3D game like this being in the works and you certainly seem to be doing good progress. However, I think that "day/night cycle" of yours looks quite off, mostly thanks to the very saturated textures not working well with darkening to begin with and the whole thing requiring to be either much darker or at least receive somewhat of a blue tint to come off as credible and somewhat good-looking nighttime lighting. Since I know of no half-decent hacks of SM64 released yet, my advice to you would be generally putting meticulous level design above potentially half-baked gimmicks for now.

If this is authentic, the really interesting question is the exact role and nature of the "Cahors #9 wine product" labeled as being produced by the technical department of the NKVD.

I often get the impression that right after some fancy English word I didn't know or see before draws my attention, it suddenly becomes a fad and everybody on the internet and in real life starts using it.

Actually one of the stronger arguments for the "reality doesn't actually exist outside of my head" interpretation.

Speaking of which, why do you Americans always get all kinds of fancy soda we don't have here? I call geographical discrimination.

Is there any way we can donate to your greater cause, Insectduel?

I haven't sucessfully get my bank account yet in order to activate my Paypal account. That can be done starting December 6th. Right now, I can only listen to music, make YouTube videos, Playing ROM-Hacks rather than doing my projects after work. Besides, I need a new laptop for Music romhacking.

About this Tuesday, I get my debit card to take money out the ATM for my paid week that I worked in the past 2 weeks.

I may spend a few dollars on my looks and my lunch and save the rest for my new machine.

10/10. Unless you were actually serious; in that case, I officially forfeit my last bit of faith in humanity and welcome any new insect overlords who could be assed to pick up the chore.

Anyway, I just added Tyty's new scheme (to be found under "Diet board2" in the selector). As far as I know, this is the first complete and released attempt to make a dark-on-bright scheme for an Acmlmboard, so go lightly about all the broken layouts and graphics for now. (Though, I would appreciate it if, for instance, Kawa added the text color to his CSS)

8. Giving the Daily Cycle theme the right font.

How is it any off? The only thing you need to keep in mind is that the relative font size needs to be set to 80 (profile setting).

(Also, there are a few differences here and there that are simply based in board2 having a quite different shell)

No, it's not.

Try looking at the source in archive2. The only Verdana there is is the small font, and we have that too.

I'm pretty positive that The GIMP actually can be installed anywhere. Apart from that, though, I completely share your attitude, especially considering how C: is my smallest partition and constantly short on space.

Another thing I have grown to deeply despise are those multistage installers that got into fashion lately, i.e. an installer that dumps an installer in Temp that dumps another installer in there etc. etc. etc. until, three or four recursions later, it finally starts installing the program. I rarely have the space for four or five copies of the program on C:.
