One of the students in my class - who has a marginal connection to the hippie/green/"alternative" scene - was tasked with assembling our class' student list for the most recent yearbook and sneaked Albert Hofmann on it (note date of death). Albert successfully made it and went on to have a bit of a carreer as a mystery occupier of seats in school events, time slots for finals consultations and what-not at the hands of those who were in on the prank.

I often found the German system of dealing with snowfall ridiculously amateurish compared to what I experienced in Russia. Here, the first accumulating snow of the year regularly causes something not far from a countrywide deadlock.

The only weather-related emergency incident I recall, though, was when we were sent home from school after the fifth shift due to storm warning.

I third the birthday wishes expressed.

I'd add some cute picture or image macro, but I have to eat breakfast and run to school.

Wasn't the reason why you were made local moderator that of you having to make a display of not neglecting your staff duties first, with a focus on staff discussions and especially S/A/O?

I don't exactly see you posting in the latter much...

This game looks incredibly pretty.

I wish they had made RO2 (Its predecessor, especially, was said by many to obviously have been inspired by the Diablo games) more like that instead of how it turned out...

never pulled any, but the best at school last year was one of the /b/ mods (went to that school that year, he was actually a lot less insane than you'd expect...) had fun an printed 1000 pages of goatse out on the library printers.

Was him not going to that school this year anymore related to the 1000 pages of goatse in any way?

I've always been thinking to emulate a stripped down and hacked into obedience N-SPC engine (thinking in particular of KSS', since that supports the drum commands) for the sake of playing back edited tracks in Solar Soundtrack instead of trying to reproduce the way it would operate on the music data in native code like I did before.
While this concerns waveform rather than graphics editing, I guess it counts.

The Oxford English Dictionary cites an example of the word yard used in this sense from 1379,[1] and notes that in his Physical Dictionary of 1684, Steven Blankaart defined the word penis as "the Yard,

Logical Operand: The background of that level still looks a bit bland; consider adding something into it, be it clouds or just background cliffs or whatever.
Is that music part of the hack or just something you added on top of the video?

Uh, I had a torrent with something like 1900 seeds and only 20 or so leeches once, it was DBZ complete set.

I don't think that's what he meant (which was, I think, the quotient of amount of uploaded data by amount of downloaded data).
Also, why on earth would one download a complete DBZ set?

The highest on a non-tiny file I could think of off hand would be around 12.

A minor issue that strikes me as somewhat detrimental to the looks of it is how text in the dropdown boxes doesn't line up with what is outside of them nicely, instead being a whole bit further to the left. Prepending a space to the contents of each might help, at least in cases like the monster name.
Also, I admit that I'm more used to ClearType than is good for me, but why doesn't the font smoothing work within the application (while the title bar clearly implies that it is turned on on the system the screenshot was taken no)?

Yes, but I failed horribly.

Have you ever accessed the internet through a WLAN the owner of which neither actively nor passively (public access) authorized your usage of it for that purpose?

Super Mario World indeed might be a good point of starting. It might well be the one game with the most advanced and polished editor having been made out there, contains none of the tricky aspects of RPGs and holds considerably more possibilities than NES games. Additionally, framework software like Blocktool and Sprtool allows one to make a "soft", guided kind of entry into assembly hacking and the other higher tiers of ROM manipulation.
If you, on the other hand, seek to start off with "proper hacking" right away, one of the numberless obscure puzzle games for the NES might be a good choice since they are straightforward enough to hack and exist in vast numbers.

The anime of it was like the second anime I watched (after Shakugan no Shana); if it weren't for it, I probably wouldn't be such a weeaboo now. While I haven't read the light novels or manga or whatever there might have been (nor of anything else, on that matter), it still seems to be one of the most quality and polished productions of those I've seen.

Neat.

How many distinct glyphs can SMRPG's font rendering/text storage handle? (In particular, would there be sufficient space for having multiple fonts usable simultaneously?)

The search in post text portion of it was the only part that worked.

However, since the demand now seems to have appeared, I just fixed that by adding a not less experimental search in thread titles. AND and OR work as linking keywords, with AND taking precedence over OR.
