It'd, of course, be better if you didn't flame at all.

Concerning "respect for the dead", I always thought of paying mind to famous/well-known people dying as kind of unfair to all the others whose deaths pass unnoticed.

Did you overstep the initial number of objects in the level? I don't think Eggvine is capable of doing the relocation that comes with extending the space available for a level yet.

Currently, the project seems to be suffering massive damage from nobody quite having the guts hosting them out of fear of the Scientology-driven party van. Three IRC networks have kicked the raid channels out, 711chan has pulled a large show and all other chans don't seem to be quite keen on hosting the planning either. Wikis and the like keep going down.

I wonder if this will work out...

So the tool in question is pretty much a graphical MIDI tracker? (Too few disk space to try it out and see for myself at the moment...)

As you appear to know Chinese as a native language, you could also try looking at the source (which is, as far as I recall, included with the Addmusic package) and deducing the meaning of error messages etc. from the words written with Chinese characters (the encoding used is ShiftJIS). I don't know whether those make up a sufficient percentage in those particular files though... depends on the author's writing style a lot.

If they break the law, punish them. If you think what they did broke the law and it really didn't, contact the appropriate authorities/organizations/whatever and make a change to your legislature.

Scientology has gained a sufficient amount of influence on relevant authorities in an all-but-democratic manner.
Truth is, Scientology hacks the western countries' legal system like a ROM hacker hacks his SMB1. As long as they are riding in the legal slipstream of a multiple billion dollar industry (copyrights, DMCA and what-not), there is no legal chance to put an end to that either. The question whether or not it is morally acceptable to go against them in this manner is equivalent, in a way, to the old question whether the people are above the law or the law is above the people.

Here's a newflash kid: nobody who isn't a Scientologist already believes that Scientology is anything but a nutsy cult.

And yet, they are growing. How's that? I doubt it's because they are fast breeders.

I'll try to bug Emuz to let me host a node one of these days. That way, his downtimes would turn into mere netsplits from services and whoever is connected to his nodes.

The problem is that my provider is steadfast at blocking port 6667 (IRC's default) (apparently without explicitely banning IRC, though).

A temporary node (no services apart from Awesomebot2 D: ) is now up on nucleus.kafuka.org port 6660~6666,6668,6669 (irc.kafuka.org if your DNS updates fast enough).
That's all I could click together from school using my broken laptop...

Judging from the screenshot, they control the process of "special", i.e. boss or otherwise storyline relevant battles.

I'd define it as follows...

Obsolete means it shouldn't be used anymore because there's something doing the same things better.
Deprecated means it shouldn't be used anymore because some guys with authority came up with something new they want you to use instead.

My "really fast typing strategy" involves conscioul^Hsly striking a wrong key then backspace at times to take out hand momentum. I get some 10 to 20 WPM more that way as opposed to when I try to type everty^H^Hything correctly right wa^H^Haway.

I'd say that overworld is still a whole tad too squareish. Try making less trivial and more natural seeming shapes.
