I don't really like the look of that castle tileset. Couldn't you make it darker and have some more chroma rather than being of a plain very bright gray shade?

Fixed. Somebody left a bug in the escaping of item names there, so the apostrophe broke the preview...

I'm closing this. What Ailure said also still holds true.

I still think "board2 Town Square - [string of few relevance]" would make a better title scheme for this thread...

IE only has tabs starting with version 7. They did start quite an effort to recover market share lost to FF/Opera with it...

Here, an attempt at starting an in-tower BGM, for those who haven't heard it yet.

Only the first 15 seconds or so are done (first 2 patterns), so I'll complete it at some later point in time.
Comments?

I vaguely recall having seen a Donald Duck comic where there was an alien that consumed nuclear explosions long ago.

I don't think I have it anymore though.

I have a keen sense of both sight and sound. My eyes have been rated by my doctor as "better than perfect" as I could read the bottom line on the chart 20 feet away. I'd rather be deaf because my abnormal sight could pick up the difference.
For some reason this makes me laugh

Sounds like a claim of the reverse ability to what the protagonist in that one Marvel comic based live-action movie (what was its name again?) did ("seeing" with sound after losing his eyesight).
Then, imagining the sound of waveforms you see can probably be learned to a certain extent... just doubt anybody tried yet

The layer 3 graphics use some four consecutive entries of the lower two palette rows (edit level palette in LM, they should be the top two rows there). From looking at the colours you get, it should be easy to figure out which four colours are affected; reset them to their original values and potentially make graphics that use the same palette entries on layer 1/2 use another.

Assuming I have to get out of the room,

I use the rope to strangle the catgirl in order to prevent any attempts of escape or violent resistance to the upcoming process. I proceed to create a set of portals above each other on the floor and ceiling. Then, I drop the (hopefully sufficiently heavy) catgirl into the lower portal and let it accelerate in its infinite-loop fall for a while. Then, I reset the ceiling portal into one of the walls, thus giving the opposing wall a blast with like 70kg of dead catgirl accelerated to several tens of thousands km/h, at which it hopefully breaks down. I use the CD to scrape the resulting mess off my clothing and walk out into safety with the smile of a man without principles.

Ah... that should perhaps have been worth a remark next to the field in the new poll form. You need to click "preview" to make the number of displayed poll entry masks update to what you typed into the "number of options" field.

My bad, I'll fix it later... got to run for school now.

I always go backwards with the backspace key outside of any form element's context.

On the rare occasion I need to go forward, I use the toolbar.

I'm at the entrance of The Guy's fortress now, after beating Kraidgief and Mother Brain. The bosses seemed to get progressively easier to me not counting Dracula... then, it might be I just got better at it

I also have to say I noticed that the game apparently gradually went from being just plain off difficult and mean to actually having amusing deathtraps like Shobon no Action as I progressed through it. The sofas were fabulous... xD

Sunsoft has a reputation for annoyingly hard platformers (*eyes Atlantis no Nazo*), so I can imagine what kind of problems there were... this looks fairly nice anyway (the level graphics appear to be very good for NES standards), so I'll give it a shot after getting some sleep.

What size is your ExGFX file, in bytes?

8192 bytes, thus two times as large as it is supposed to be.
You are doing something wrong. What do you use for tile editing/what is your particular reason not to use LM's builtin editor?

"Editors"->"8x8 Tile Editor Window"

Is there any more obvious way it could have been put in? X_X

This is not a programming question. Also, Google is your friend.

The level is way too short, repetitive and uncreative. Also, for being an "ExGFX hack" which implies some special focus on them, the graphics are notably boring and bland.

Just for those who dont know, this is an editor for Megaman 3, 4, 5 and 6 programmed in VB6. But dont judge it based on that

I'm sorry? Don't judge it on what it DOES? XD

But yeah, this is really fun to mess around with. It's cool.

I'd assume he meant the VB6 part of it...

Either way, how large (if present at all) are the differences between the four editable games' data structures, and what's the difference that makes it impossible to edit Megaman 2 with it?

The whole "phishing" hype is really just a bad excuse for retarded users getting exactly what they deserve"...

Firefox, however, is not exactly the epitome of speed either.

I garantee it was you blackhole89, why did you trash my yugioh card thread?

Because it was stupid, unoriginal, childish and had neglectable potential of spawning anything of interest. While the final trashing was done by me, I consulted with other moderators beforehand as well, finding that they shared that position.

XP's IE (6) lacks crucial features though, has miserable CSS support and none for alpha channels in PNGs or SVG at all.
